Sorry for the late reply but since noone else has helped you.... I am not sure If I am allowed to link the ENB site here so just google ENB for Skyrim VR . (Assuming you are playing in VR) It should be enbdev or something like that. Some ENB's want you to use an older version of the binaries but I dont think this is one of them so just get the latest release. After you download it open the zip file and go into the wrapper folder. There are 2 .dll files in there ( d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll) copy them into your SkyrimVR folder. Then manually dload this file and copy the contents into your skyrimVR folder. Its been awhile since I've used an ENB so I'm not sure what keys open the menu anymore try then End key, or F11, or SHIFT+ENTER its usually one of them. Also be aware that the ENB menu wont show up in your headset you have to take it off and use your monitor. Enb's can be really taxing on your game especially in VR so if you decide you dont want to use it just delete all the files you copied into you skyrimVR folder and anything elsy that has ENB in the name. Hope this helps.
EDIT: Also if you decide you want to try a bunch of different ENB presets but dont want to have to constantly delete files check this out https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67077/ Make sure you read the description page carefully. Since you are using MO2 I recommend adding the executable to MO2 (Just like you did with the script extender)and run it through MO2
It's a decent VR ENB config and exactly what i need. No weird brightness issues, no performance r*pe. It just works. And the fact that im not forced to install some shitty weather mod and over 9000 compatiblity patches for it is icing on the cake.
Encouraged even. If you have any tweaks, suggestions or w/e, feel free to share them. Heck, I can set up a Github repo to make PRs with tweaks and varants and whatnot.
If you have any screenshots, feel free to post them on the page. I haven't had the time to play much (or at all) in the last 3 months, so I think most of the current ones depict the broken 1.0 tonemapper.
I am using Simplicity ENB as it is working nicely with DLSS. But I was unhappy with the wetness effects, even with the optional files. So I used only weather effects from Scenery ENB together with Simplicity ENB and am very happy with the results. Good quality without fps hits. If someone wants to take a look: https://youtu.be/t0Jb5u_7n7A Can share some details, if anyone is interested
Hi, would i go about editing the depth of field? Is it just shift+enter? I am trying to make the graphics of things further away less blurry, everything 5’ or close looks amazing but once u get further away image is just not sharp. Can editing dof help with that?
Or you can just disable the sharpener from the enb menu. First thing I do when I try any enb preset, I open ENB menu and from enbeffect.fx window adjust settings like sharpeners to my setup and press save. For this one, CAS is at the bottom of enbeffect.fx settings window.
Maybe I'm missing something, but how do I disable CAS at the bottom of enbeffect.fx.ini? I see the following:
--------Contrast Adaptive Sharpener=0 CAS Sharp: amount=1.0 Enable Clamping=true CAS Sharp: clamp amount=0.07 CAS Resolution ratio=1.01
I don't see a "Enable CAS=false" option
EDIT: Let me clarify, I know I can set "CAS Sharp: amount=0.0", but I wasn't sure if this was turning off the algorithm, or just running the algorithm with a parameter of 0. I want to turn it off to save processing.
You know, it did disable CAS processing completely previously, but I kind of forgot to put that part back in when refactoring.
In the upcoming update the sharpening value of 0.0 will, indeed, turn the CAS algorithm off entirely. You have my thanks for bringing this to my attention.
If you don't mind me asking, I know this intended to be a lightweight ENB, but does this ENB preset happen to be set up with a wetness effect that can be optionally turned on? Unfortunately Soaking Wet - Character Wetness Effect still doesn't have a VR port and I'm currently just using the R.A.S.S. one, which can look a little wonky.

I made some tweaks if anyone wants to try them out. Check out my screenshots on the image tab under User Images.

PSA: If you use Embers XD and have yellow embers instead of red, set all variables under [WINDOWLIGHT] to 1.0
(There was one for Sensorium, but it was barren).

So my other sharpeners like FSR will need to be reduced to compensate.
--------Contrast Adaptive Sharpener=0
CAS Sharp: amount=1.0
Enable Clamping=true
CAS Sharp: clamp amount=0.07
CAS Resolution ratio=1.01
I don't see a "Enable CAS=false" option

I came to ask about disabling CAS sharpener entirely, but I saw your comment that it is planned for an update.
Thank you!
