Discovered your mod through the Serana Dead Sexy mod addon, Suzy Sunshine, who carries one herself. I love it. Using a Baroque guitar to smack someone around is just awesome, as are the sound effects. Brilliant work. It is my new favourite weapon. Never realised it could be so satisfying to belt someone with a guitar.
something with your sound settings must not be ok then. The hitsound is hold in memory, what is a standard setup for weapons or everything what must play sound exactly on action. This seems to be out of order in your setup. Do you have a mod modifying the sound setup in a way or in the ini ?
Its literally playing for you too or whoever it is in that video. Like its the sound of the enchantment or something. Im not talking about sound on action or on hit. While youre just holding it in your hands, that sound thats constantly playing.
What you hear is the breathing sound of the char. It's there with and without guitar. Anyway, I posted a version what might fix what you hear. It's a shot into the dark, as I don't hear it. Maybe it's overlayed by the char breathing sound. Try it.
I dont know how you managed to do it if you couldnt hear it in the first place but you got rid of whatever the sound that was coming from the enchantment i was hearing. Thank you so much for fixing it. And sorry it i couldnt explain it better. Nice work.
Also for a 2h Warhammer, this thing feels like it has a hella short reach/hitbox to it, like twice as slow attack speed too. Larger/longer guitar maybe? Im trying to knockem dead with this next encore
thats just what its classified as. or is that your way of saying no? its fine, just thought i'd give some feedback. Yall can just use the proteus mod to adjust the weapon reach and attack speed etc btw.
Its cool, like i said for anyone who wants to know, easy adjustments for people using the proteus mod. I'd like to think the guitar should still be larger than a lute though. I can barely land a hit while standing right in front of someone which i think a normal guitar would be able to handle no problem. If there wont be a larger guitar in general, its whatever but I still wanna know whats with the constant hissing/creeking sound?
I don't have this. The sound descriptor is set to 0 attenuation, maybe set at least 3dB could reduce it. It seams, it reacts on any collision for you. Do you have a mod installed modifying sound ?
The other sounds play normally on hit, sheath, and unsheath. But theres that constant sound playing while its unsheathed in my hands as if its breathing or something. I thought maybe Visual Animated Enchants but i think those are just the visuals. I'll try looking more into it though.
Pretty sure yes. Most models come from Oblivion etc. Actually heavy metal here has a double meaning, as the guitar is a weapon. Not sure, if an e guitar can make this knock sound when hitting the head of a victim.

Ty for reorting.

It's like a roleplaying thing. Walk with a guitar what can be used as weapon.

speaking of which: would be truly metal if we had an electric model as well =P
