for anyone having issues with the neck seam using BnP i tried my best to blend it, it isn't perfect but it is much less noticeable looking now. https://www.mediafire.com/file/rfkks7ebfe8slaf/malehead_0004.rar/file just replace the original malehead_0004 from koralina's kaidan mod folder with the one linked above. hope this can help someone !
Does this still work with the latest versions of Kaidan? Really hoping for an update soon in case it somehow borks his quests after not being updated in over a year.
Hi everyone, this has been driving me crazy for a while, so I've been researching. I saw a yt video about this, and I was able to fix the neck seam issue for my Kaidan, hope it works for some of you! (Please always hard save before attempting fixes.)
I am on PC. In command console, I used setnpcweight 70. You want to go down a bit from where the character was at. I guess 40 is average and 100 is max, but Kaidan is pretty big so I tried 90, 80 and then 70. The 70 setting worked for me, but try the parameters until you get it right. His neck seam is gone for me now! :)
When I made that change, his hair and eyes went all weird, so I just used the Proteus mod NPC setting to change his hair back to black, and that fixed both his hair and eyes. Also, mostly due to his size going down a bit with the above setnpcweight command to fix his neck seam, I made him a bit taller in console with setscale 1.02.
He's gorgeous. I hope this helps! Earlier, when I wasn't able to fix this issue, I switched Kaidan replacement mods trying to find one that I liked, but this one makes him look the best imho. Koralina knows what looks good! :)

Yeah. I've even tried replacing his textures to match the COTR textures I use and editing it in xEdit, but no matter what, I can't get his body to match his head and face. He's so cute, too! TwT
Found a fix! Download this for BNP or whatever skin mod you use and replace the textures in Koralina's Kaidan with the same named files. Then use this. It just works.

The Kaidan De-Standalone mod you linked last, also works with the Vitruvia skin for males without having to download the BnP mod. After all the BnP skin is unavailable atm. So for people having issues getting Vitruvia to work on Kaidan, use the last linked mod in the message I'm replying too and install that, it worked a miracle for me.
Yes, it made my Kai's body/skin looks so much better too! The neck seam mod is hidden now, mod author working on it I believe, so he still has a neck seam, but getting there! This is still the best looking Kai in my opinion! Goes best with his voice.
do you guys use some kind of male body? I use HIMBO and I'm not sure if it's preventing this fix from working, but no matter what I do his body textures are still default D:
Unfortunately, the neck seam mod also didn't fix the neck seam issue. For now, I just have Kaidan wearing a talisman that sort of covers the same sometimes.
It does nothing. I installed the follower, then no DLC version, then BNP version. The follower looks like in the original mod, he's not changed at all. Is there anything else I need besides your files?
