    I've been using your mods for a while- in theory, would this replace the combo of Cathedral Landscapes/3D Pine Grass? Or does this go on top of all 3?

      If you like the landscape textures from 3D pine grass, you can keep that mod and overwrite the grass library. If you are using different landscape textures then you don’t need 3D pine grass. I’d keep using CL for its terrain and landscape LOD.

    The recent updates have finally helped me find some tundra grass that I actually like, so huge thanks for that.

    I would like to suggest potentially uploading some lower resolution (1k or 2k) textures however for the larger files. 4k for grass is a huge amount of VRAM expenditure if you plan to actually use this mod for gameplay.

      These are texture atlases so the resolution per uv island is already between 512 and 2k.

    Hey, I'm not sure which update did this, but I'm seeing grass in Whiterun on the main street where it wasn't prior. Especially around the market.

    EDIT: It occurs with 14.81 too but it's way less noticeable as the grass is shorter, it looks like it's a natural growth that's not too disruptive which is probably why I didn't take notice prior. The grass in 15.2 in the same places is about three times as tall, or maybe in the older version is was lower in the ground.

    EDIT2: Ended up using No Grass In Objects with 15.2 to fix it.

      That’s really strange because whiterun is entirely a model set. There is no landscape terrain within the city so you can’t add grass to whiterun. Do you have any screenshots?

      Eh, too much headache or such a simple task...

      First it wouldn't stop raining or snowing in-game to take clear screenshots, then it turns out my screenshots end up messed up regardless most likely because I play on 32:9 resolution so I've cropped them horribly, please excuse the lack of clarity.

      I've uploaded them to the image section, I don't think you need to approve them for public, they're just to show the difference.
      C3DG = your mod
      NGIO = No Grass in Objects

      EDIT: I didn't bother uploading the screenshots of the main road to the gate, those are all messed up and you can't see the difference
      EDIT2: Also see in screenshots "03_C3DG 14.81" & "03_C3DG 15.2" that there is some green grass just further in that alley that is almost not visible in 14.81 but becomes very visible in 15.2

      Wow!! Crazy! There must be some parts of the city that have terrain underneath. I wonder why this hasn’t been an issue with other grass mods though. Are you using any mods that modify Whiterun? landscape fixes for grass mods?

      Only JK Skyrim (I use all the JK mods). Otherwise, I'm not sure if DynDOLOD would affect that. I already tried to test by running without JK Skyrim but the game crashes when trying to start a new game, must have too many dependencies or otherwise I don't know what the problem is.

      I'd ignore this unless others report it who don't use JK. In any case the fix was easy with the mod I've already mentioned, and that's a useful mod to have generally I would say. I didn't even have it before I encountered this "issue" and I'm glad I found it now.

    I love the areas you have done! What grass would you recommend to go with your vision for the areas you haven't touched yet? Regular cathedral?

      Keep an eye on the requirements section as mods that make use of the library will pop up there

    Hi. I installed the main file as per description but having blue grass / no textures. Im testing this on fresh profile with just a couple of mods. Sorting with LOOT. I opened some meshes in nifskope, like ComplexGrassDrJ10_b.nif, and texture paths point to textures that dont exist in texture folder.

      The Spreadsheet photo on the description page is a good baseline for what is complete in the mod. Otherwise, you may have to play around with different combos of meshes and texture paths to create something that works yourself

      I was testing on 2nd profile without enb and had blue/purple textures for some grasses. I added random enb preset and problem solved. I know its listed in the requirements for complex grass feature but didnt know it will be f.up without enb like its missing textures. I think that was it, or maybe some other stuff I did while testing lots of mods ;D Try with enb.

      Ok, thanks but I'm using CS which is not compatible with ENB so will investigate elsewhere ...

    This grass mod looks beautiful!! But I think I'm having a bit of trouble getting this mod to work with Community Shaders, I have the latest versions of Community Shaders along with Reshade but there's no grass?

      Hello!

      So I redownloaded the main file and the issue is still persisting. I double checked to see if the meshes folder to see if the meshes were missing and they all seem to be there?

      EDIT: There's no errors! It was me not turning off my existing grass cache and Dyndolod set up before testing! I'm sorry for the inconvenience. ^^;

    Do the textures that are a diffuse/normal in one work without complex grass? For instance does the normal map part of the LinumLewisiiDrJ.dds cause problems if you're not running complex grass since this will be the same texture in the diffuse path of the grass nif?

      Ha. Whoops. Was it always a requirement? Most of the textures pre v14 are not diffuse/normal-in-ones.

    The number of updates that you've been doing for this already amazing grass is impressive! I had been using Skoglendi but I think that I have been converted by these amazing grasses.

    Your other 3d grass mod says it doesn't need Landscape Fixes for Grass Mods - does that apply to this as well?

    Additionally, are there any areas this mod doesn't yet cover that you would recommend a normal grass mod for to fill the gaps? Thanks! Love the work that you do

      -Landscape Fixes for Grass Mods is recommended
      -The terrain and LOD textures from Cathedral Landscapes match the Tundra grass in the library
      -Check the requirements on this page. Other grass mods using assets from this library would be a good start.
      -Also, grab the update!
