    Hiya! Adore the mod. Would it be possible to get compatibility between Hogwarts in Skyrim and this mod? It has charge times for its various spells with the wands and I'd LOVE this spell for that.

    Additionally, I'm happy to make a patch myself with permission! Just let me know~

      I don't think it's possible without API. Hogwarts uses MCO power attacks to cast spells, there is no "cast time" to detect.

      Definitely true, but it also utilizes OAR to apply a magic effect on cast completion, as well as in stages for each level. A staggered progress bar between the stages complemented with interpolation could theoretically produce a casting bar for the progression of the wand. At least, without glancing at the implementation of either mod's code since I haven't seen any source (for obvious reasons).

      Granted, all of that sounds obnoxiously tedious to accommodate, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if ya said "Heck That"! Just figured I'd ask, even if I got told nah

    Is it possible to create a second Casting Bar row? I would like to make status bar converge not to the left, but to the center (Nordic UI has a triangular notch in the center of the compass that would fit comfortably with this mod)

      What do you mean by second row? About your second question, its not possible to change the fill direction programmatically in current version, it would require remaking the widget.

      about direction. You can simply make the scale X value negative so that the status bar progresses from right to left

    Thank you z4x for the amazing work! I have requests for possible configuration (if it doesn't exist already):

    • Enabling/disabling progress bars for different weapon types (shouts vs staves vs magic vs bows vs crossbows)

    • Changing the direction the casting bar moves/changing the orientation of the progress bar itself (left to right or up to down)


    Again, great work! This mod is very unique.

      Separate toggle for spells, shouts and bows is already available, crossbows are animation based so its most likely impossible.

    Though the mod is perfect as it is now, It would be great if separate placement parameters for bow, shouts and spell can be made.
    Also, in line to Bow Charge Plus (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59124), wish the casting bar for bow would have 3 levels.

    Nevertheless this is staying in my load order.

    I can't get this Casting Bar to work.
    Tried Casting Bar version 3.0.0 and Version 2.1.4

    If we don't install interesting casting bar, the 3 casting bar will look different or they will look like the old version with purple? Is interesting casting bar a requirement now?

    Tbh, I kinda prefer the unique casting bar from before but that's me. I will keep the old one.
    That makes the casting bar hud preset mods redundant now?

      The v3.0 is customizable, zax give us three variants instead of one(v2.1.4).

      I'm using interesting casting bar, but I like the older purple spell's castbar. Just rename it into .swfx so it won't be read by skyrim.
      Or rename whatever spell castbar that you'll be using into, "CastingBar_Spell.swf".
