Hi. I could make a patch for left hand rings, but I was not able to find left hand ring versions of the meshes I used as a basis. There are several left hand ring meshes to be found, but all of them have serious flaws. Additionally a left hand version of the cabochon mesh (used in Silver Moonstone, Silver Onyx, and Brass Pearl ring) is missing. I played around a bit with Outfit Studio but was not able to transform the right hand rings to left hand rings. So, if anyone knows how to do this, please contact me here or by private message. Only two nifs would need converting...
No plans to do this. I just checked the description of Thaumaturgy and there are no rings mentioned. If it alters the vanilla enchanted rings it might not be compatible, if it only changes the enchantments and how they work it might be compatible... Just try and let us know...
I made a compatibility patch, it was only a few dozen records that needed patching. I'm testing it out right now, just to make sure nothing beyond those few records needs attention. If the author of this mod would like, I could send them the .esp file.
Hello, thanks for the work. I could upload it to the files section here, or you could make a new mod page... does the patch also work for the CACO version?
Would love to see a patch for Left Hand Rings Modified SE. Do love a lot of these, but I tend to use artifact rings for the right hand, so using one of these lovelies on the left would be great.
I could create the models (nif files) for the left hand versions. However, implementing them all to the game is basically recreating the whole mod again. You could try to put EMVR before the left hand ring mod in the load order. Probably at least the newly added rings are carried over and will stay intact. EMVR uses newly created leveled list in combination with edited vanilla leveled lists (for higher compatibility). If the other mod doesn't touch the merchants, my rings (and gems) will appear in game, although seldom. You can try...
I think I just had a brilliant idea how to implement the left hand versions without need to change all leveled lists... I have to check how the left hand rings work and then I need to do some tests... :) I'll keep you informed, but I see a version with left hand rings coming... :)
This looks great! I always wanted more topaz options, so thanks for that. I dig your idea of having the gems match the schools of magic. I'm still building my LO for my next playthrough, so I'll track for now. I also use CCOR and WACCF, and would love a left-hand ring implementation as well (just voicing what everyone else here is, so you see there's still interest in it; hope I'm not coming across as a nag!).
I see your CCOR option --thanks! I hope you have the help and info you need, and that life is being kind to you. This is a great idea that I'm sure would become a staple in a lot of people's LOs. I wish I had the skills to offer assistance, but I really don't. Best of luck in the meantime. Thank you for sharing your awesomeness!
Thanks for the kind words. Concerning the races I have no idea what you are talking about :D but I saw something with races somewhere in SSEEdit... I can try to check this....
I had some time to check this, but didn't find any AA race setting in Creation Kit or SSEEdit. Do you mean "RNAM - Race" in SSEEdit? This is set to Argonian for all rings...
These are fantastic, immediately added to my LO. Looking forward to the left hand meshes as well, would be amazing for consistency. Sorry to be yet another voice asking for things in the comments, but I was wondering if you had any plans to give this treatment to the circlets as well?
Would it be possible to use SPID to add these new rings to NPCs without touching leveled lists? That could be something to look into to reduce compatibility issues
any chance of a beyond skyrim - bruma patch? (that mod includes topaz gems and ebony rings as well) or at least, would making my own patch with the linked tutorial be possible? (like, say, editing the bruma mod to use the topaz from *this* mod, or vice versa). sorry, i have very minimal (skyrim) mod making knowledge haha.
Hi. Oh, I didn't know that Bruma also intoduces the ebony rings and topaz gems. Never used it myself. Probably that's the reason why they were included in Gemling Queen... I can have a look. I wanted to check out that mod anyway... :) But give me some time.
You recommend also installing Gemling Queen Jewelry, which file do i need to install? also dumb question but how do you convert the file to work for SE?
Oh, I'm sorry. I linked the wong version of Gemling Queen. I changed it to the SE version now... Sorry for that. It doesn't matter, what jewelry design you choose during installation of Gemling Queen. Use whatever you like. If you install my rings on top of Gemling Queen, the rings will use the combined design anyway (Silver will use option 1 and gold & ebony the more detailed option 2).
Tracking this. Its good potential alternative to the bloated Immersive Jewelry overhaul (that adds a shitton of keywords, bloated crafting recipes and even underwear) and CCOR that doesn't expand the list enough.
I had to check, what CCOR is... :) I remember having seen it, but didn't like some stuff so it was ignored. I also didn't know it does similar things with all jewelry... From the description it should have more ring combinations than my mod. My mod doesn't have the flawless gem-ring combinations. I think, the precious flawless gems are reserved for the necklaces and I kept it this way... only small gems are needed for the rings anyway. I think that's more realistic. We would need a new ring model with a larger gem for the rings with flawless gems, but I'm no 3D artist... :) Graphics-wise CCOR should be similar to my rings. It seems to use the same models.
Would this conflict with CCOR then? I like the ebony rings from this a lot, but CCOR is a staple of my load order. Hm, I wonder what would need to be done to patch the two together, if there is conflicts. If it's simple enough, I might just try and do it myself.
I think, it should be no big problem to combine both. I added a link to the "Compatibility" section to a video how to do your own individual patch. That's actually the way I did the version with CACO. It's very simple, but you need SSEEdit. However I don't know how to make my mod work with the different individual configurations of CCOR (by Fomod installer and/or the MCM menues). :\
Yes, I'll do a version for WACCF. Should be easy. IIRC it only changes the prices of the rings. I'm quite busy this week so give me a few days. Meanwhile you can try loading WACCF after this mod and see what happens... :)
Yeah, most of it is pretty straight forward to tweak in xEdit. The most difficult part would be figuring out what value your new rings would have following the WACCF pricing formulas. I've been spending a little time working on decoding those pricing formulas, and I'd be happy to share my notes with you if that's something you'd be interested in.
Looking through the file in the creation kit, I noticed there's no crafting recipe for the Silver Nordic Ring, and there's a couple missing metal/gem combos (gold/moonstone, gold/topaz, ebony/garnet, ebony/moonstone). Are those something you intend to add in?
If I can be of any assistance to you, I'd be happy to lend a hand. :)

Just try and let us know...
There is a patch vor WACCF - CCOR - LHRM to make Left rings look like the CCOR Types.

btw CCOR does not add ebony types, i'm finding this mod while looking for corundum variants xD

I'll hopefully finish another little mod next weekend. I'll take care for the left hand rings afterwards...

But I'm no modder and I didn't work with SPID yet...
I hope everything works. Was a bit more complicated than I expected...

Keep up the awesome work!
