Thanks a lot for all the nice comments and your support! Feels good to be back after such a long break :) If you like my work, please don´t forget to endorse.
So I was wondering if it might be possible to have additional barrel option colours? The barrels are gorgeous inside, but are almost too beautiful for the outside environment. If there was a more battered version that was weather worn for outside barrels - that would be so sexy! Of course this would require BOS magic. :)
I was wondering the same thing. I chose the no animation option when installing SMIM, but it seems this retexture adds the animation back. Is there a way to disable this? These barrels are so beautiful and I want to keep them, but I'd like to stop the animations.
Not unless the author releases a version without them. This is the best looking barrel mod visually, but I hate animated lids (slows gameplay down and clips with objects)
yes that is dependent on the setting of the other meshe. emissive color, specular color, specular strenght, environment mapping and the cubemap could be adjusted differently. for my part, i prefer reduced shine for aged iron and metal, but that´s of course personal preference.
you´d have to compare both meshes (from this mod and FYX) in NifSkope and check for differences in the settings. then change them accordingly. maybe yuril is willing to offer a version of their mod with reduced shine.
ooooo HELL YEAH!!!! This will send me on a massive nexus quest to find matching crates and buckets and that stupid lil wooden cart, you know the one, in riverwood with all the cabbages, ooooooo I can already see the perfect wooden clutter all coming together for the first time

Thank you.
A non-animated option would be lovely.
btw it took a while, but i finally did the display cases ;)
Upd. I think its only for barrel01.nif
All the best!
meshes/clutter/largerainbarrel01
And then I think it uses woodmetalstrip01 & woodmetalstrip02 in textures/clutter
I used this mod as a reference.
Edit: update is up
