I feel like this could be extremely good if there was a texture replacer only option. that way its compatible with anything that adds skyforge weapons... I might actually learn how to texture for it lol
You can apply the textures as a texture set if the other meshes use the vanilla textures. If they do not, you would need to remake the textures anyway.
Hi! I noticed that the Skyforge Steel Arrows added by the newest version of this mod are actually just vanilla steel arrows. They are listed in the steel category right next to the vanilla arrows and they have the exact same appearance, stats and both are named Steel Arrows. The only difference is that one requires corundum ingot to craft (I assume this is the one that is meant to have unique stats and is supposed to be named "Skyforge Steel Arrow"). Thank you for the mod! :)
I dont think so, since it has individual meshes. Im gonna try replacing the meshes but I dont think that'll particulary work since there are separate textures. Ill let you know how that attempt goes.
Update: Ok so if you take the skyforgesteel meshes from believable weapons and rename and replace the meshes from this mod, you'll get the believable weapons meshes. However, I had the amidianborn skyforge patch so they have the amidianborn textures on them, which is cool for me but Im pretty sure that means simply replacing the meshes wont give the corundum textures from this mod which is kinda unfortunate. Hopefully a patch gets made.
It's not by default, you'll need to make a patch in nifskope that carries over the cubemap and texture changes. I took the liberty to make a patch for both, Leanwolf, and Believable weapons this morning.
Nice work! It's cool to give these weapons just a bit of visual distinction, and in line with the Wolf Armor.
I had something strange in testing (via the test cell, though not sure if that makes a difference). The battleaxe only has a single blade like the war axe, but from the screenshot here that's not supposed to happen. Any idea what may have caused this? Also, I'm using the BSW patch.
I really wish I knew how to do textures, because I would love to make a set of steel armor to match this. Yes, there's the Wolf Armor, but I just like that sort of thing (and the Wolf Armor doesn't have a shield).
Still, props for this, it does well for consistency!
I made a version that changes all cubemaps to corundum so the weapons have an even more different feel from regular steel weapons. I also added a sheath to the greatsword since I was working on my vanilla+ Greatsword Scabbards mod anyway.
Can I upload the link here for those three people interested? And is it possible to open permissions for the mod?
whoops lol I forgot to make those open when I was doing the mod page anyway yeah you can do whatever you want with the files, though we switched off of using the corundum cubemap on weapons in dev because it made them too bronze in our opinion

Skyforge Steel - Art and Honor with Corundum Cubemaps that make them stand out a bit more from Steel weapons + adds a strap to the Greatsword
Skyforge Steel - Art and Honor with corrected Steel Cubemap (minor bugfix) + adds a strap to the Greatsword. This is in line with EpicCrab's vision
