Custom Cubemaps by fadingsignal configured to overwride the cubemaps used by Cathedral Armory.

These are just fadingsignal's cubemaps by renamed and put in different folders so they override Cathedral Armory's cubemaps.
Cathedral Armory uses Sky Realism cubemaps un-renamed, so any other mods also using Sky Realism will also be affected by these (which is probably good).

I've resaved the uncompressed .tga files as .dds files with BC7 compression (as opposed to BC1 which fadingsignal used) meaning they'll look better and load faster in-game.

Here's an overview of which cubemaps I've used to replace which ones:

  • copper_e --------------------------------> sr_copper_e
  • steel_dull_e -----------------------------> sr_dull_e
  • bronze_e --------------------------------> sr_dwarven_e
  • ore_ebony_e ---------------------------> sr_ebony_e
  • ore_moonstone_e -------------------> sr_elven_e
  • ore_orich_e -----------------------------> sr_glass_e
  • ore_gold_e ------------------------------> sr_gold_e
  • ore_steel_e (monochrome) -------> sr_grey_e
  • ore_iron_e (modified by me) -----> sr_iron_e
  • ore_orich_e (modified by me) ---> sr_orcish_e
  • steel_e (modified by me)-----------> sr_shiny_e
  • steel_e ------------------------------------> sr_steel_e

The iron cubemap has been edited to be reddish brown, instead of blue and bright red.
The Orcish cubemap has been tinted turqoise and made slightly more desaturated.
The shiny cubemap has been desaturated and blurred slightly.
