A Letter to Those Who Follow My Work

Over the last two months, I've been working tirelessly on Skyblivion development.
They reached out to me and I decided to take the position of Quality Assurance, with the idea that I could continue my own mods at the same speed, while taking on an additional 6+ hours most days on Skyblivion.
I was wrong, and instead have been working 10+ hours most days on Skyblivion, working to bring an amazing product to the community.
In the end, it has been an extremely difficult decision to make. It came to questions of what would be best for my game development career that I am building. And I came to the conclusion that Skyblivion would be better for my portfolio, than Ryn's Skyrim would be.
That is the reason for my absence.

What does this mean for Ryn's Skyrim?

I wholehearted plan to continue Ryn's Skyrim development, only at a slower pace than what I did before, sadly. I cannot keep up with both projects as I would like to.
My experience with Skyblivion has been insanely helpful in terms of developing my skills, and I expect that to show in my Ryn's locations from here on out.

What do I do for Skyblivion?

What I do at Skyblivion is Level Design Quality Assurance.
Just how Ryn's Skyrim is taking Bethesda's work and improving it and bringing a feeling of "Next Gen" to the old game, I do the same with Skyblivion.
I make sure the end product is not only high quality, exciting, and interesting, but I make sure it is consistent. The project is made of many different people of ranging skill levels, and I make sure that that is not an issue, and that all locations are equal in quality.
I stream a lot of the work I do both on my own mods, and Skyblivion here on twitch.

Drop in and check it out!

    Thank you.

I've always shown my gratitude to the community, from the very beginning. I'm grateful for the downloads, the messages, the comments, and everything you all have granted me. Without your support, I would not have been reached out to by Skyblivion in the first place.
I hope to continue providing a high quality product, and to one day finish all of Ryn's Skyrim for you guys. Thank you.

Is the Missing Tower Base Fix still needed with the latest version?

With the new v.1.1 the files page says, "Update removed need for some patches. See patch notes for details."

Sorry to be so dense, but... I cannot find that. Would someone kindly show me where the patch notes are?

Edit: I think I misunderstood. The patch notes probably refers to the Changelogs. I thought there was a mysterious, magical "Patch Notes" that was going to tell me what patches were not needed. Now I am thinking the two sentences in my quote are totally separate.

Soooo... does anyone know what patches are not needed? Is it the "Missing Tower Base Fix"? Anything else?

    Thanks!

The skeleton bodyguard is invisible. Might be a conflict with Praedy's skeletons. Not sure.

I'm using HQ Imperial Forts 4k-2k, and its causing missing texture because of parallax. Is there any way to fix this, if anyone can help me

Not an expert, but may be you can check the requirement for the parallax mod that is the cause. Did you remove the parallax mod and settings and check?

      Yea its HQ Imperial Forts 4k-2k thats causing blue mesh issues because of the parallax ;~;

Edit: I fixed it using another mod that auto-check if a mesh is parallax or not and renders the mesh any way :)

Thank You for Your work Ryn.

On the image with the campsite and the spitroast, there are 2 large towers and a wall in the background - is that still Mistwatch folly, or is it Mistwach proper?

In other words, did You expand the site much beyond the original area? Because I really really like the thermal springs all around and would like to not loose them o.o

Also, should I re-run DYNDOLOD with this?

Mistwatch Proper was changed very little, and I would say not really expanded. The thermal springs have not been removed at all :)
running DYNDOLOD is always up to the player. But I would say yes, as the structures added are very large.

Hi Ryn, I played very little but I did come across Mistwatch a while ago. What You've done to the place is magical. That is some Ace level game gilding You did there! Many many thanks!

Thanks for the mod! Some files from Ryn's Snazzy Last Vigil - An Ebony Warrior Overhaul have conflicts with this mod. I make this one priority because it is your newer mod.  Is it right?

Not sure if you guys ever found your answer, but it has 3 conflicting files and they are identical in both. (There is no conflict, just duplicate files)

I'm noticing a pretty big gap in the floor of one of the towers at Mistwatch proper. I'm not sure what's going on, since it looks fine in the Creation Kit

EDIT: It's some sort of problem with Landscape and Water Fixes.

Just install the optional file - missing tower base - and you're golden :)
