I really love the mod and the effort put into it. The only thing I would ask is, could you make a version where vampires have taken over the fort? Or possibly the fort was abandoned by the Dawnguard because of their dwindling numbers and vampires decided to make it theirs.
That would be sick af for those who do vampire playthroughs.
Well made, but i do have a few critiques. These are meant to be constructive, overall i do still like the mod. Seeing an old dawnguard outpost retrofitted is pretty cool.
in descending order:
the inside of the fort doesnt really seem to match up to how it looks on the outside at all:/ this is my main one
also, there's no roof access. that'd kindof be a big deal if they had to fight anyone off..
the keep seems to be made for how it is now, instead of something that used to be a militaristic fort but has since had the quarters changed. ex: where would the soldiers have slept back in the day? theres no side room that could have been for that.
not expecting you to change these, just some things you may want to keep in mind for your next project
Would be great to see some nice expansion to this mod that would tackle these issues.
Maybe if the dev wants he could expand the fort inside the mountain, add in barracks, a foundry/armoury, a library for studying all sorts of vampiric lore/studies, use the roof/ramparts of the towers as "training yards", add in a dedicated war room. Perhaps a chapel/temple with shrines to the 9 (especially useful for people playing with Wintersun). Maybe even a vault with chests galore and places to put all the artifacts, especially the Daedric ones so that no mortals may get their hands on them.
For my personal view, there should be some customization options to allow players to maybe clean up the place and remove all the filth from the walls, heck maybe the ability to hire some guards to man the place and liven it up.
looks really nice - the only thing that is missing is some snow and ice on the castle walls aswell as the roof - prob impossible without blender or 3dsmax
Glad to see Fort Dawnguard assets used in a mod, I love the design of the fort but so few mods use it to a good effect, I love the premise you've made for the little quest, and the new spell just adds that little touch that makes this much more than simply picking up a key, great job!
After revisiting the castle I found out that three of the Dragon Prist displays was messed up, it was the mask for the three other dragon priests added in Dragonborn DLC, will post pic of the issue later but this could take a look-at.

I just read that this could be a problem stemming from another mod: Clockwork. I'll need to hop into the creation kit and see if I can fix it, but it's likely not your mod that's causing it.
- The 2 beds should now provide the "Well Rested" Perk. - I also updated the archive's structure, just in case you had any problems making it work with a mod manager.

Is there a command to get rid of the quest, or a way to get past the "Remove barrier" stage?
