HOW TO FIX INFINITE LOADING SCREEN This is caused by missing records on the replacer plugins that haven't been updated to match the latest changes. (Using Nessa for this example.)
Download xEdit, open it up, tick the .esp for the replacer(s) you have installed.
Expand the options under the same replacer plugin, go down to the Non-Player Character (Actor) category and click on NQ_Nessa till you see a bunch of things come up on the right panel.
Scroll down within this panel till you find the list of Packages. It's about halfway down, beneath AI data.
At the bottom, you'll probably see < Error > with a missing package record of some kind. Right click on this and then click remove.
Okay, I'm stuck. I've used mods for a decade and never commented on nexus before, but here I am...i'm that stuck! I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong, or if the mod isn't working correctly, or if there's a conflict. I've studied my load order to consider what could be conflicting and there isn't *that* much...but I have a problem.
The game started great. In the cave with no bugs. I picked up the follower Eris in whiterun, so that's working. The bloodborne thing seems to be working. So far the mod seems to be mostly working
I do some quests, met with the greybeards, etc etc. Pretty much par for the course new skyrim playthrough stuff.
Now I'm level 16. I run around whiterun. I run around solitude. I run around windhlem. I'm talking to NPCs left and right. CoT NPC's, 3dNPC's, Vanilla NPC's. LoTD started fine. Wyrsmtooth guy talked to me. Moon and Start breadcrumb starts... but Skyrim Redux NPC just doesn't want to spawn.
Which "NPC" is supposed to interact with me to begin the Redux quests? I don't have any breadcrumbs. Nothing is happening. What even is the name of the NPC I'm looking for? Are they not spawning? I know so little about what I should be doing I don't even know if the mod is glitched or not lol. The only instructions I've found is that an npc will talk to you at minimum level 10 in Solitude, Windhlem, or Winterhold and I keep going to those places and looking for npcs and nothing breadcrumby is happening.
So I'm assuming there is a conflict preventing the npc from spawning? Either that or i'm straight up missing him. The only mods I think might interact are JK's Skyrim. I've used the JK's Skyrim suite for all town visual overhauls and never seen an NPC straight up not spawn before. Which leaves me wondering if that is really what's going on, or if I'm just missing something.
Sorry for the ramble, so i'll mark this TLDR; what is the name of the NPC I need to meet in Whiterun/ Solitude/Windhelm at level 10 to start the quest? And could I have his ID so I could maybe summon him with the console? So far the mod seems awesome. I love the content i've seen, but clearly there is a conflict preventing the main quest from starting and it is a shame.
There should be a merchant leaning against the wall when you go to the marketplace and up the stairs heading towards the Wind District in Whiterun, I believe. But I'm still working on how exponentially f*cked my game is for whatever reason that I can't even get past Bleak Falls Barrow without it crashing 30 seconds after loading the game.
I don't want to point fingers at all due to the fact that I have no proof whatsoever, nor have I attempted to disable this mod to test it, but is there a chance that this mod (or perhaps Redux alone) might cause crashes in Dragonsreach after becoming Thane as well as during the Golden Claw quest before you reach Bleak Falls Barrow? I can only reach the Barrow before I begin the Golden Claw and the Dragonstone quest. Otherwise, I crash right at the base of the stairs going up to the door of the Temple of Bleak Falls Barrow. I've been trying to fix this for a week, and I'm currently in the Barrow before I even got to Whiterun again. I know that if I continue with the main questline I'm going to crash right after I become Thane. It's usually after Gore (the companion mod) starts dialogue about becoming Thane. I freeze for a couple of seconds and then I CTD. I do have many script-heavy mods but I've never had an issue before with the main story until I got this.
Again, don't want to point fingers. I don't think it's this mod, but if anyone else has similar circumstances, please let me know. I've been ripping my hair out for ages trying to fix this and it's to the point where the game becomes somewhat unplayable.
Edit: It is NOT this mod. I had so many issues and I ripped my hair out a thousand times over. It was caused by a mod called Dylbills Papyrus Functions. NPC Death Notifications lists it as a requirement, I am going to see if it works without it.
Questions, everytime I died I got loaded into a cave with some wraith, after opening the portal I was teleported back away (let's say 1-2 hour journey back from my current location) does this how the marked for death supposed to work or does it supposed to teleported back to where I died?
So I am having an odd thing happen where both my character and Nessa lock up after our first conversation in Rorikstead. Everything goes normal up until she goes to leave and almost bumps into me once the it ends and we both lock up the rest of the world keeps going I can use EnablePlayerControls and move around and even talk to her but she has nothing to say. I Was looking around and did not see anyone else who had this same issue I have had no issues with the mod or other followers like Eris so far. I am not going to claim this is a bug in the mod because it is probably conflict on my end I am just trying to figure out what is causing it.
Edit: Well it took a while to track down the subject it was the mod Better Innteriors I think I have been having some issues with inns lately and I had to replace all the HS Inns so I am wondering if that was the cause too and I completely forgot about this mod until I tracked it down. Just figured I would edit this incase someone else has the same issue.
I Got confused with the new game mode, can anyone help me?
I was reading some comments that imply that the game has a end now... at the end of the new main quest... But also in the installating FOMOD says Dragonborn quest is optional.
Can I finish the new main quest and play the game as normal, or not?

edit : Eris can identify the enemy armor using her spells from shock/frost/flame since I installed Know Your Enemy 2+Armors
