I've not yet tried this one, but must say ComfyKnight is the most ingenious title I've ever come upon, the Monty Python spin-off film that should have been.
not a bug, just a conflict with the mod "Regal Paladin Armor", this two mod use the same name texture and same tree folder. For solve this incompability you juste have to rename the fur.dds by fur2.dds do the same for the alpha and open nifscope to do the same change. Et voilà
It's a tedious process, but these steps should work.
Download/extract/install Bethesda Archive Extractor (BAE) and NifSkope.
Go to the directory containing this mod's staged files (e.g., in Vortex, right-click the mod and select "Open in File Manager"). You should see .esp and .bsa files.
All the meshes and textures are in the ".bsa" archives. You need to extract them so they can be edited. Open BAE. Drag the 2 .bsa files into the window. Click extract. Navigate to the exact same directory. Click "Select Folder". Move the .bsa files somewhere else... you don't need them any more (except as a backup).
Go to the new textures folder all the way down and rename these files (You may need to enable extensions in Windows Explorer to see the ".dds".): "fur.dds" -> "fur2.dds" "fur_n.dds" -> "fur2_n.dds"
Go to the new meshes folder all the way down.
Open up outfitf_0.nif in NifSkope. You should see the mesh in the viewport on the right. It's probably purple but that's OK.
In the viewport, click on the fur part of the armor. That highlights the vertices/edges of the fur component on the mesh.
Look in the tree on the left and you should see a "BSTriShape" labeled as "Fur" also highlighted. You need to rename the textures for this part of the mesh: Expand the tree node so you see BSLightingShaderProperty > BSShaderTextureSet. Click BsShaderTextureSet. In the bottom, you should see the paths to the textures you renamed in step 4. Rename them like in step 4...
In the tree on the left, there should be another "BSTriShape" node called "Fur_Bottom". Repeat step 8 for it.
Once done, you can save the file with CTRL+S.
You'll need to repeat steps 6-10 for the other three mesh files: outfitf_1.nif, outfitm_0.nif, outfitm_1.nif
Redeploy your mods. Your mod manager should realize the staged files have changed and load the new ones. (Vortex does this anyway.)
