Current Activity: 1. Working on an optional drapery plugin. Finished. 2. Main mod version 2 update. Finished. 3. red or dead plants (as seen ESO Castle Thorn). I was limited in what I could accomplish without using new models/textures. Released a lite scattering of dead plants in library. Unsure if I'll expand on it, or work on a lush version. Or not. 4. Goldware: Rudy kindly gave permission to use his candles and mindflux gave permission to use his smoking candle effects. It takes more time to test and organize a release (and keep track of multiple mods) than it did creating, so I don't know when I'll get around to sharing, if ever. I may also include wskeever's updated models for the animobjects (he released that update a day after I'd posted). I haven't settled on brassy vs gold yet, so it's on the backburner. 5. Additional things I may or may not get around to: more jeweled clutter, more stained glass, double bed add-on to Lord Harkon's room (doubt I'll do as it requires navmesh and I don't want to bother with patches), fountain or bathing pool, blood potion dispenser, etc.
Hotfix: noticed the SMIM goldware missing the bloody textures if you didn't have wskeever's mod installed. Fixed. Hotfix: the statue/stained glass optional plugin description had some old plugin information, so I reuploaded and had technical difficulties with refreshed webpages and wrong files getting archived. Sorry if it spammed some extra alerts.
Sorry for delayed response! There are no issues to worry about. Should be safe to install midgame. Just have the same cautions you normally would when installing any new mod midgame. This mod is low impact on castle--no scripts, no quest changes, no npc changes, no deleted items, no navmesh changes, no light changes.
I don't change bloody bones or blood stains in this mod. No effect.
The optional downloads have silverware replacers. They are optional, not required. Pick and choose which mod parts you want.
The vanilla silverware option is the most friendly with other mods, but I think you might skip the silverware if you don't want to risk seeing a bloody cup. I can't remember how Castle Rebuilt handles silverware--if the new silverware is only replacer items or new place settings. I didn't remember them changing plates. I will need to check again in SSEedit. I'm working on getting a good savegame again to properly test his features, but I won't have an answer for you for awhile. Perhaps someone with a savegame or more knowledge can answer.
I'm still working on my silverware expansion, but this is still optional. Rudy and mindflux kindly gave permission for me to use their candles and smoking candle effects, but handling candles was part of the reason I didn't want to share this optional mod in the first place--too many variables and too many mods.
Thank You for the response. I going to install and take a look in game. I have already rebuilt the castle. Your images look great and I want the gold swap, but without the blood.
Looks great I installed goldware vanilla. I have a mixture of gold and silver. Most are gold, but some goblets and jugs are silver. All plates, platters, candles and candle sticks are gold, except the wenches and vampires I resurrected are carrying silver platters and goblets. Your paintings are excellent. Thank you for sharing this.
If you are going for a no blood effect, I recommend looking into that Animated Object Swapper mod someone released within a day of my own mod. If I remember their reddit post correctly, they use gold. This should affect Castle Rebuilt silver items.
Most of the jeweled items in my mod are the bloody items, which you may be hiding, so my mod would be unnecessary. Maybe I should change that, now that the other mod is an alternative option. In my current vanilla option, all the jeweled items are only the bloody items. In my current SMIMed option, one of the candlesticks are jeweled as well as the bloody items. An upcoming release will also have 2 flagons jeweled and possibly jeweled urn clutter.
Thank you for the feedback, I hope you find something that works for your setup.
The only bloody items I found so far in the castle are a table with bloody rags, goblets and plate in the torture room. Main hall is completely blood free. I like your mod and blood in the torture room is fine. I think your mod fits my game perfectly. Thank You
Update: mod does not change the rebuilt interior of the castle, after rebuilding with Castle Volkihar Rebuilt mod. Everything is still silver. Your mod only effects the main hall. I hope you will consider making a Castle Volkihar Rebuilt version patch, adding the art and gold. Thank You again for sharing your wonderful mod.
In SSEedit, we both edit 2 banners. In my mod, I disable the 2 banners 'initially' (at game start). In his mod, I believe he disables the 2 banners when you clean? Let mine overwrite, so the flags are initially disabled.
I don't know what he does after cleaning, if maybe he has 2 new clean flag replacements. If so, then those 2 would need to be disabled or they will sit on top of 2 paintings.
I was going to ask if this was compatible with "Rebuilt". Fantastic artwork. Beautifully done. Definitely endeavor to work on Rebuilt's compatibility, if possible. They seem like perfectly matched mods.
Thank you for the kind words. It is safe to use with Rebuilt, but should be loaded below it. Let me know if any banners spawn on top of the 2 paintings in the dining hall after you "clean" the castle in Rebuilt.

Looks like it should work mostly out of the box.
