I am having the same issue. I remember using this mod in the past with DMCO though. I even downloaded n older version of DMCO and it is still not making any noise when I roll. How can I get this to be work?
with OAR now released would different sounds per armor be possible? or maybe assigning different sound based on said dodge animation which is set to what you are wearing, but I guess that would need a bunch of new dodge animations. I'm kinda just spitballing cause I don't know the actually possibilities with OAR as of now.
if u really want to try something, you can try putting different copies of dmco animations in verolevi's cata addons, creating new records in xedit for each sound, and changing the annotation in each animation file to point to the correct record
How do you change from the light, medium, and overweight options? On the video she brings up a menu to change sound settings but its in a different language and don't know how to access that
DAR only works for animations. The sound played is controlled via event in the animation file. Therefore, you can create 4 sound records in an ESP and duplicate the DMCO animations creating a naked, light and heavy armor set. You then replace the sound name in the HKX files matching the respective armor sound. Finally, you place the animation sets in DAR folders, with matching armor keyword conditions.
I know that this solution is VERY over-engineered, there is probably an easier way I'm not aware yet.
Got it! Thanks for the explanation I think I once saw a mod that does the same thing but for walking/sprinting audio. Better check that out and see how they do it Since I'm still new in modding, instead of creating new esp (which I don't know how XD) maybe I'll just add some new keyword in an existing esp
