I don't know if you have noticed, but there are lanterns placed on top of the poles at many of the dig sites. The mesh that comes with this mod has a slightly different footprint, causing the lanterns to float. See the attached screenshot (you may need to open it in a new tab; the snow is just extra flavour). This breaks immersion, so could you make the poles longer so they match the original, please?
Mod updated! I adjusted the height of the posts to avoid floating objects. Please let me know if all is working as intended. And thanks for the heads-up!
Is there any chance you could delete the dig sites from the Forgotten Vale? They kinda remove the isolated from the rest of the world feeling the vale had. Cheers!
Just asked them on the main Legacy page and got turned down. I suggested them to limit them to only in the ruins, as they currently are all over the vale and it looks a little bit weird, but they said they don't take requests.
I was bored so I made a version of this using TB's fantastic new pickaxe model. Here it is if you want to post them. Saves you the trouble before someone requests it because those new models are insanely detailed and extremely high quality .
Of course! It's the least I could do for one of my favorite mod authors that has added so much quality to this game already. Just want to let you know how much I appreciate everything you do, for real. Cheers friend!
Hello Xtudo, i have a problem with the meshes of your mod,but is just in the dragonborn hall, where is the dig site display. In the dig site in the world, all work perfect. It is as if there is an invisible object, like a scale, and i can get on it. If i disable your mod,all work normally. Obviously,i have all the requirement and i installed the version from Elsopa tool. Must add my appreciation to the growing list here...
Once again, a hugely visible difference in a small, significant way. Been to two dig sites since installing this and found myself switching between Night Sight, Torch, and Candlelight spell, just to check out and appreciate the stunning, new, near-photo-realistic imagery. Seriously.
It's efforts like yours that make this game unique in the history of gaming, so far! Thank you for bringing our worlds to life
Please tell us if Improved dig sites should overwrite the Official Patches or vice versa. Maybe sirjesto could include a detection for this mod also in the official patch but until then it would help if you could tell us a load order (especially newcomers)
My patch is an aesthetic one, it doesn't edit the main mod, nor patches. It just improves some mesh files. I recommend you to install it at last of everything, it's 100% compatible and safe to install/uninstall at anytime.

I skipped the load screen mesh because I don't use vanilla load screens anyway, sorry
