1 its an aspect of Sithis that is void of any air via being locked away in a Sarcophagus (which were DESIGNED to preserve as well as possible) for god knows how long between openings. No air present = near perfect preservation, the slight decay perfectly represents enough opening/closures.
Perhaps Base Object Swapper can be used to make the fully decayed model in this mod's robes possible after x amount of time has passed in game since after the first appearance and converse with the Mother?
I'm having the same issue, but I realized that I have a mod installed that changes the appearance of the DB armor sets (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/93890?tab=description) so I wonder if that is the reason I'm not seeing the body. I've opened the Night Mother file in Nifscope and it looks like there is a complete body there, so I think something is going wrong with the file naming, but I'm not sure how to fix it.
