Great mod, except because it takes up a plugin spot i wont download it unless it gets flagged as an ESL. I managed to just edit ELFX esp myself in SSEEdit to delete the light. Thank you for making this mod though.
MO2, Data tab on the right, bottom search bar just start typing "fakelight.." and it'll narrow it down to the files, expand: Meshes\effects\ELFX. Right-click each and select "Hide" (ELFXFakeLightDoor01.nif / ELFXFakeLightDoor02.nif).
As you may know, wizkid put this mod's changes into his latest versions of ELF Fixes. If you don't use that and want the lights turned off, follow the suggestions many have made to just hide/renamed the .nif files. Much easier than any other solution.
if you're using ELFX Fixes and you WANT the fake door lights back, I've created an ESL-ified patch file that brings them back. If there's enough demand I'll post it.
I only found this really annoying on some ENB presets but when it happens this mod is a lifesaver. Quite painful to look at these giant white blobs in dark taverns.

Renaming them doesn't work, simply save the files elsewhere if you want to keep them.
You're confusing simply adding the esl flag to an esp plugin's header, vs a plugin with the esl extension. The former does not hurt load order.
I've already placed this plugin before ELFX main, all lights remains tho.
EDIT: For those with same problem with mod not working: Open the ELFX on TES5Edit > Static > remove both ELFXFakeLightDoor01/02

Works perfectly for me. Thanks!
