I did read the description, which only & specifically mentions fixing the "visual effect" & says not a word about the *Magicka*.
Nor is there any mention of why you consider the absorption a bug, so not only are you failing to tell potential users you consider your mod a fix for more than just a cosmetic issue or even that it changes more than cosmetics, you're failing to warn us of your overreach.

What you're failing to comprehend is that a bug fix is not mandatorily required to educate its user whose totally ignorant on the subject of the bug it's intended to fix. Also do note your question that is whether magicka being absorbed by the summoner is a bug or not is not relevant to the scope of the bug itself, because magicka regenaration and visual effects are both the result of spells being absorbed by the summoner, which is the bug itself that this bug fix is for, and this is obvious for the audience this bug fix is aimed for which is those who has at least any clue about the bug itself. Lastly, do realize that none of mod authors in Nexus, including myself, is responsible to hand-hold you about matters that you don't understand and don't want to put any kind of effort in understanding the matter, nor do I consider them as "potential users" as you'd like to describe.
tldr) If you're a troll, move on, if you don't consider yourself a troll (which you are) you still need to move on because your kind of attitude which is "everyone exists to serve me and feed me with information" is not welcome here.

What I am querying is whether the cloaks you are preventing absorption of provide that Magicka or if your change is purely cosmetic?
