For those looking to bring the tree back after doing the Gildergreen quest, type "prid 00046360" in the console, and then "enable" Great mod btw, looks real cool :)
If anyone's interested, I've uploaded a fix for the tree vanishing after finishing The Blessings of Nature! It should work for both quest outcomes. You can find it here:
I love this mod, but running into some issues. At the moment, I have JK's Skyrim, Blubbo's Whiterun and Fabled Forests and Skyrim Exterior Cities 2.0 installed to my game. I had already completed the Gildergreen quest prior to installing this mod as well.
The issue I'm having is that the old Gildergreen model is still there, in its proper spot, and the Erdtree Gildergreen replacer is offset from where it should be, which also results in the base of the tree floating above a bench. I tried deleting all other wrtempletree02 related meshes that were not in your mod. Could anyone help with this?
And I have to disagree with you. Elden Ring is a beautiful game, especially by 2016 standards. But it came out in 2022. And your models combined with the visual mods I've compiled from all the lovely modders like yourself look objectively better than what the developers at FromSoftware have produced. So I'll give you all the credit in the world, even if you won't.
P.S. of course I'm a little bitter at Triple A devs sorta stagnating in terms of graphical fidelity. But any bitterness I may have is far outweighed by my gratitude for you, and all the others like you, putting out these absolute works of art FOR FREE. Bravo, Wigfrid09.
Hard agree. I have spent many hours of my life doinking with tree mods in TES games, and yours are by far the prettiest. You're beautiful, Wigfrid, and so are your trees.
Looks fantastic ! I wanted to put the Sanctuary tree in Whiterun but could not figure out how, so I lowered the Whiterun tree by too much. https://imgur.com/a/NANfkPy , a -1000 could work instead of 2000.
Also I completely uninstalled Dyndolod for now and I can see the from Bleakfalls. I might disable this incase dyndolod makes a fake copy.
I played with some edits of this wonderful mod for my own game .. I added effects like falling leaves, lights (the tree glows now) and a random chance to receive a healing spell when walking by the tree. The healing spell gets stronger and the light warmer after the tree is restored. Let me know you would like me to send you the files or if I can post the changes as a patch in a new download page if anyone else if interested.
I am working on a rewrite of my version to work as an add-on to any Gildergreen tree, including this replacer. It will not include the original models - only the effects like the falling leaves, lights around the tree and leaves on the ground. I will post the link here as soon as I finish testing it in a few days.
I didn't get to package it on Nexus yet but you can download the latest version from my Github repository. (just select 'download raw file' in the top right corner).
This version doesn't include any change to the Gildergreen itself. It should work with any makeover of the tree, including the Erdtree.
The files are pretty big for my metered internet, what happens if I download this after the Gildergreen quest (Blessings of Nature), to avoid issues of your tree disapearing?
