For those looking to bring the tree back after doing the Gildergreen quest, type "prid 00046360" in the console, and then "enable" Great mod btw, looks real cool :)
If anyone's interested, I've uploaded a fix for the tree vanishing after finishing The Blessings of Nature! It should work for both quest outcomes. You can find it here:
And I have to disagree with you. Elden Ring is a beautiful game, especially by 2016 standards. But it came out in 2022. And your models combined with the visual mods I've compiled from all the lovely modders like yourself look objectively better than what the developers at FromSoftware have produced. So I'll give you all the credit in the world, even if you won't.
P.S. of course I'm a little bitter at Triple A devs sorta stagnating in terms of graphical fidelity. But any bitterness I may have is far outweighed by my gratitude for you, and all the others like you, putting out these absolute works of art FOR FREE. Bravo, Wigfrid09.
Hard agree. I have spent many hours of my life doinking with tree mods in TES games, and yours are by far the prettiest. You're beautiful, Wigfrid, and so are your trees.
I don’t think you have knowledge about games in any shape or form. Or else you wouldn’t make a comment like that. Games nowadays have far more visual effects to be rendered than Skyrim, which still runs poorly on any resolution over 1080. Of course those games are optimized. And that’s good. Elden Rings meshes and textures are completely fine. Take as an example Hellblade, have a good look at background meshes. Whilst Senua is amazingly rendered. But those are very restricted levels. Like Detroit Becomes Human, for example. Extremely limited levels, incredible meshes and textures. The limited world is allowing it. Now try to run Skyrim with full ENB, Dyndolod, physics, unoptimized high poly meshes, 8k textures on a 4k screen and see how that goes.
Elden Ring is optimized to run on all kinds of resolutions and hardware. A game who is extremely dependent on I-frames.
You being disappointed at the industry for being professionals is seriously showing exactly what’s the problem with nowadays criticism of games. You guys think you know what you talking about, but reality is you don’t, so you s#*! on games that didn’t deserve to get s#*! on.
edit: I play games since 1990, started on a c64. Games have not regressed in any way.
LeelooMinai Bud you took the words from my thoughts ... people sometimes look spoiled when judge so fast some things , and that is why everyone criticises so fast this days ...
I wish I could run Skyrim in the same way I run Cyberpunk for example or Elder ring for this matter ..
I also wish some people could know that most of us do not even have enough money to have a good 4K Nvidia GPU this days ...and play in a lot older GPU ... spoiled is what most people are this days !
Without any offense of what so ever , some people should just thank to who ever they have the chance to play a game and have a good decent PC that can run them !
For those curious, it's safe to compact and mark the mod as ESP regardless of which version you download. Also keep in mind that you don't need to have the mod selected when you run Dyndoload as its LOD seems to be in place already. I did, however, need to load the mod AFTER Dyndoload's and the Occlusion ESP, so keep that in mind.
Anyways, absolutely beautiful work. These things are so awesome to see off in the distance. The Jars are a lovely touch too. Now if only someone made a mod for actual Jar NPCs! Really livens up the horizon.
Is there anything else I need to do to generate a 3d lod for this tree?? In my game, the lod is 2d. Can I just uncheck this mode when running dyndolod?
this and the candlehorn mod are my favourite mods ever / yet ! i humbly thank YOU for your Great Works ! besides the Gildergreen and Eldergleam replacers, could we see one of these wonders of the world replace the Canticle tree in Ancestor Glade and mayhaps even replace for Snazzy Exteriors - Brylings Garden akin to Blubbos Canticle Tree Patch ? be well ! xx
any suggestions to get the replaced gildergreen to show from outside the whiterun city walls? I had it working before, but my hard drive died and I've finally reinstalled skyrim. I can't recall how I got it to show up. I have both the GG replacer, erdtrees of skyrim, and the quest fix the very last thing in my load order, after dyndolod (I had them disabled during generation). but no tree LOD from the distance.
Note, the ones over in the rift work just fine as distant LODs. but from outside whiterun, I just see the old gildergreen poking over the walls, not the replacer.
Is there a timer for when the leaves fall? I had a bit of difficulty. I had Gildergreen Regrown, fantastic mod but guards not acknowledging it broke the immersion for me so I went back to a few saves and got rid of the compatibility mods for GG but the leaves from the tree aren't falling like before. The Erdtree still looks absolutely amazing, just want to make sure whether it only does it at certain times and I haven't broken anything.

Erdtree Gildergreen Replacer - Quest Fix
Amazing work! Would you allow me to port this mod to Xbox? All credit would be given to you.
Thanks!

I don't want replacer for any other existed tree...
