There is a patch from Dismembering Framework that overwrites 1 script from this mod. Is it ok to ovewrite it?

I would assume you should so you can have DF's edits win.

See the Optional Files, I have just uploaded a compatibility patch (one for the SPID-version of my mod, and one for the non-SPID version). This solution includes both the tweak that the author of Dismembering Framework did, as well as retaining all of my optimisations.

      To use this:
      1. Install Dismembering Framework
      2. Install Enhanced Blood Textures
(ordering between the two above does not matter)
      3. Install one of my two main files (SPID or non-SPID).
      4. Install one of my two optional files (SPID or non-SPID).

With this setup, it's actually not necessary to download the DF+EBT compatibility patch from the DF page at all, as my three-way patch completely overwrites that one. But if you do, just make sure to put it in between (2) and (3).

If you install this mode, blood will not be sprayed on the floor.

You probably forgot to install some requirements of my mod (such as PAPER), or you are trying to mix the SPID version of my scripts with the non-SPID version of the original mod (or vice versa)

      Sorry for not speaking English.
All requirements have been installed.(Optimised Scripts for Enhanced Blood Textures - SPID version-76767-1-0-0-1665250639)
If you install this mod, blood will not splatter on the floor.
And the Reset Cloak Spell disappears in mcm.

NexusMods tells me (but they are sometimes wrong) that you did not yet download this requirement: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/73849

Then you're probably using the SPID version of my mod, but still the non-SPID version of the original EBT mod

Make sure that you have PAPER installed, and that you are combining the correct version of my mod with the correct version of the original mod (either both SPID, or both not SPID)

I also had this issue and I was using the main version, not lite and I tried SPID and blood just doesn't show up on the ground. Not sure why, should be the right version and I even installed PAPER first. Maybe a load order issue?

I can't thank you enough for this, you single-handedly saved my game.

The first time I froze when shooting the vanilla fireball spell at a Falmer, I thought it was because I was running low on RAM. When it happened a second time after upgrading my RAM, I did some digging and found out the cause was more than likely EBT. I was really bummed to remove it since it's a great mod, then someone on Reddit mentioned your mod. Installed PAPER, this, and re-ran the game.

Without this I would probably still be stuck in Tolvald's Gap and resorting to deleting Falmer through console commands just to get through. Really glad I didn't give up and took the chance on this working, paid off immediately and I hope it continues to do so. Kudos and endorsed!

So this is supposed to be loaded before the Enhanced blood textures mod? (Ie EBT has priority over this?) That seems a bit odd, as it means these won't even be used...

So it would look like this:

    (In)compatibilities
    - Enhanced Blood Textures SE - Settings Loader: make sure to load this mod after mine (i.e., letting it overwrite the conflicting file).

is this incompatibility significant in any way? Is there a part of the mod that doesn't function because of this?

Not really. At worst, you might lost out on a tiny micro-optimisation from my side, but not any of the more impactful ones. It wouldn't be noticeable.

Can I just overwrite the scripts in the original mod with yours? Or do I have to keep both?

    Thanks for this mod.

Help, I played a save for dozens of hours and forgot to install PAPER. So I installed this MOD directly. If I reinstall it, will it affect the save or will there be permanent issues that require me to restart a new game?

It's not entirely clear to me exactly what you installed/uninstalled/reinstalled when, but:

      (1) PAPER is 100% safe to install, uninstall, or reinstall at any point in your saved game (just uninstalling will probably cause other mods that depend on it to stop working correctly).
      (2) Optimised Scripts for EBT (i.e., my files from this page) are 100% safe to install/uninstall/reinstall at any point in your saved game.
      (3) The original Enhanced Blood Textures mod is the only one you need to be more careful with. Installing that one mid-game is fine, but if you uninstall it, you will likely get some orphaned scripts in your saved files that require cleaning.

Would this mod help at all with combat performance ?, a lot of the time in combat when i hit someone or am hit and blood splatters my game stutters but never against things like skeletons that don't spray blood when attacked..

Can't promise that it will, but I guess there is a chance that it might help. It's especially going to reduce the number of scripts that are running when magic is involved (especially continuous flamethrower-style spells, but also others), or enchanted weapons. But also optimisations in general.

This is crazy, it removed the stutters/lag in combat. I'm using the SPID option btw.

Just asking, is this version compatible with the latest version of PAPER, v 2.2.3 ? PAPER has gone through a lot of updates recently

Yes. PAPER should really always preserve backwards compatibility (installing newer versions of PAPER should never be bad, barring any unintended situations like some of the crashes/freezes there were in recent versions of PAPER before 2.2.3).
