I'm also looking for someone to help me manage / mod it. I'm expecting You to be experienced with Discord, knowing how to setup different channels, bots & rules. I can't offer any monetary return for the work at the given moment, but if things take off, I'll def compensate generously. Please send a DM to me on discord with your experience, Kev #7766
sadly both. I also dont want to use ENB Light for reshade and performance reasons and hoped it was just the glowmap. The BIG violett ball of light around the flowers taught me otherwise.
Thanks a lot. It looks nice. And Happy New Year! :) Could I ask you to reduce the size of byohhouseingrddeathbell01.nif a bit? It goes beyond the boundaries of flower pots.
Hey Skurkbro, I have noticed that the original mod has an optional download for the ENB lights meshes. Is there any difference with yours, except from the author ?
After doing some comparing i found 2 differences. The optional version on the official page has an ENB Particle light for each individual flower on the plant while my version has one big particle light that covers the whole plant. This is more performance friendly since those particle lights are intensive on the gpu. Take into account that when you walk around a place, let's say the frozen march, you will most likely render 5-10 clusters of deathbell plants and that hits performance pretty hard.
My version also offers a glowmap on the actual flower to give them a more magical look
That's going to require some work, but it's possible. First thing is to download nifskope and get comfortable with it, then download both mods and replace the meshes from my mod with the official patch. Open the mesh files you wish to patch, make a copy of the plant model and change the texture sources on each plant. First plant should use "textures\plants\DeathBell02Plant.dds" as diffuse map and the copy should use "textures\plants\DeathBell02Glow.dds" as diffuse map. The plant model using the Glow texture should also use the Glow shader properties in the rendering settings
Well, obviously Todd Howards is using his "it just works™" spray on them and the side-effect is glow. On a serious note, they could be radioactive or hold some radiation infested material.

Hm, do you think deathbells get the glow properties from being rooted, and lose them once detached. Same questions for Nirnroots.
I'll upload screenshots with and without glowmap
