This begs the question where the coal comes from. This do not look like coal from a coal mine meaning it is likely wooden coal. This opens up the possibility for another form of immersion mod. Not only could you run into hunters out in the forests, but you could also find coal workers and their camps as well. Turning fresh wood into coal without actually burning it is a difficult work requiring constant supervision. This leads to the possibility to include these workers in quests. Maybe as simple as a fetch quests "Please head to town to get us an X since we cannot leave the coal pile unattended". Or there is a bears and wolves roaming, please help us, we suspect that a spriggan are sending them here to attack us!
Yeah, but I think coal always appeared in the shovel with that mod since he just repurposes the existing animation. Since, 99% of my shovel use is for burying bodies a dirt variant would work even better for me.
Ok, so the problem is with Shovels Bury Bodies since it's been using charcoal animation and texture from the start.
I don't know anything about animation and scripting, but the mod author should make a copy of the animation with a link to a dirt texture, then in the script call that copy of the animation.
Wow, it's always the little things, huh? I never really stopped to think about the coal in the shovel, but now that I've got this I certainly do. Even made it work with ElSopa. Thanks for this!

Maybe you can make a better quality charcoal texture? I'm not very good with object textures yet.
