Thanks to everyone for your positive feedback on my first armor mod! I believe immersive armor for the forsworn has been long overlooked and I'm glad to have made it a reality
I had this problem before. I think if you download Forsworn Armor Redux 2K .esp and the Forsworn Armor Redux non-replacer and install those two it should fix the problem. I suspect you only downloaded the "Forsworn Armor Redux non-replacer"?
How do I install the bodyslide files? I have a feeling that the bodyslide files are in the wrong folder.
UPDATE: Turns out I was right. The file "ForswornRedux.nif" inside folder SliderSets should be under the folder ShapeData inside the subfolder "ForswornRedux". UPDATE2: Turns out theres more to be done so I'll list the steps I did. 1. Open OutfitStudio and click load project. 2. Select ForswornRedux.xml, make sure the nif file is in the shapedata folder. 3. Select load reference and click on cbbe body. 4. Then on the left side under meshes tab, select all except the cbbe body. 5. press ctrl+c and click ok. This works to conform the outfit to the cbbe body and add appropriate sliders. 6. Save the project when its done.
A favorite armor mod of mine. One reason for it being a favorite is how, with the replacer version, it differentiates Forsworn from the Witchmen of Beyond Reach, making them clearly distinct factions.
This is so nice, now they're not freezing! :D One of the base mods I always get on a new install along with Realistic Armour and other warm / practical armour mods.
For those downloading this mod for the most recent Skyrim version, be sure to pop it open in xEdit and forward the relevant Survival Mode keywords. I also recommend forwarding USSEP's changes, too!
So here's a funny story. I meant to download this mod for my most recent load order, but I had forgotten to. When I encounter the Forsworn, I was disappointed, thinking some other mod was preventing that. When I discovered my mistake, I quickly corrected it, but I had one question: if the mod wasn't downloaded, why were the Briarhearts running around in their underwear? I may never know. A 200+ load order is a mysterious and terrifying thing.
I like this. The Reach is a beautiful place, but i can only imagine how bloody cold it'd be. Running around in bikinis seems like a good way to get frostbitten nipples.
I like this mod alot. I ditched Rustic Forsworn for this one. The immersion is broken by people in fur bikinis putting up an effective fight against people in plate armor lol.
Yours won out, but my choices were between your mod and this one called Scottish Celtic Reachmen: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21843
I want to figure out how to edit armor for Bethesda games and combine things I like from various mods. Ideally, I'd have your mod's fur armor on top of the Celtic Reachmen mod's kilt and tartan, with a combo of chainmail and the leather "undersuit" your mod uses, but beneath the kilt and tartan.
You say you credit LeckerHamster's tutorials. I found that YouTube channel, but everything is in German. Does anyone else here know of any tutorials in English that could possibly show me what I'd need to do to develop my own ideas on the Forsworn armor and weapons?
