Does this include a fix for the same issue with brows, or should we use the LE mod you linked to in the description to fix brows (guessing it works for SE as well)? Update: This mod's files don't include any brow-related stuff, meaning it doesn't include a brow fix. However, there are other mods that do - the LE mod liked in the description works for SE as well, according to its comments, and there is also this as an alternative. So I answered my own question, but going to leave this here for anyone else who might be wondering the same thing.
It's just a beard fix as per the title of the mod :D I personally use the second one you linked to fix the brow shine, I didn't think it was nice to make another brow fix when one already exists.
Yeah that's fair, I figured that out as soon as I posted the comment haha, that's why I put an update - just left the question here for anyone else who comes in wondering the same thing. Thanks for the reply though, and for the beard fix! :D
At the end of the days , what they need is a proper Alpha map . Shinglecat's greyscale textures for hairs actually fixed all of the overly shiny problem because she actually re-do all of the hair's texture with its own Alpha map .
Your current solution is not perfect as well because you just painted them black . Beard and Hair does shine a wee bit when the char are sweating or raining , your current solution actually erase that last bit of shine they have which means they are going to look flat in close up screen archery .
Only the no shine option is black, I also added an option where I reduced the shine so the Alpha is a bit darker but not completely black and there is still a bit of shine (see pictures).
