I'm trying to learn how to add sliders of my own to Racemenu but I can't find any videos or articles about it. My goal is to add a slider that can increase the player's weight past 1 if that makes sense. When I'm messing with the OSP's in outfit studio I can set base shape to max weight and then use the same 0->1 slider again to create some pretty beastly double max weight bodies... I'd love to add the same 0->1 slider into the Racemenu so I can morph my PC body into a chonky unit lol, maybe even learn to make my own chonky animations with Blender one day. Anyway, Awesome mod!! any links or insight to help me on my way would be tremendously appreciated. :)
Thank you for these sliders. It helps to edit those hard to reach areas. I am wondering if I use this and upload a preset, would people have to download this mod for their preset to look as we have edited it? I am assuming that they will not have to.
Unless people are able to replicate the issue, myself included as the mod author, we have nothing to go on to fix any issues. "Doesn't work for me" is just as helpful to everyone else as "It does for me" is for you.
If an issue only occurs for some and not all, the underlying issue is something with your game and how it's configured or your mod list. No one can troubleshoot every load order combination with every game version, every ini setting and every SKSE version with every mod manager.
This should still work for SE right? I use VR, but set up a new SE install to modify characters. I added racemenu and the various high poly mods and then this one, but when I get to the racemenu, only the default sliders show. Any troubleshooting tips for that? I did initially install advanced character edit, but then removed it, so not sure if that matters?
Also, if I open the game to the startup screen and type showracemenu in the console the game shuts down. Not sure if that is normal or not. Thx!
It should work for SE. That was the version I developed it on. I can't help with your crashing issue, that's definitely related to whatever you've done with your game and not caused (directly) by this mod. Maybe a bad install somewhere or a conflict, but assuming this mod is installed correctly (and it's pretty hard to mess up a bsa and esp install) then it is not the culprit.
could you add shoulder spacing editing at high values? i am trying to get it as close to ECE as possible, but this only allows face edit and the the back skull remains huge and it is disturbing. is there a way to edit the back of a characters skull to be more petite?
I don't believe ECE has a slider that adjusts the back of the head. It might be modified by the racial morphs ECE includes like EFM, but then that still won't be touching the hair. Shoulder width is a slider addon that is included with XP32, not ECE, and would be outside the scope of this mod.
ECE does have a built in skeleton of xp32, but the original xp32 without ECE only edits the clavicle which is not shoulder spacing, in ECE you could shrink the scale of the shoulders or edit the spacing, I am unclear how ECE performs this better than xp32. I Just ended up committing to ECE, but should you figure out how ECE does that editing, I'd definitely will be back to endorse. thanks for the response.
