    I wonder if a similar fix could be made for New Vegas. I know that NV had the same exact problems with it's laser projectiles.

    EDIT: lStewieAl's Tweaks already includes the fix. Just need to activate bDetachedBeams.

      What's the problem? I've never had any problem with channelled beam spells.

    learn to reverse-engineer Skyrim, and two days later this mod was finished. The original source code was invaluable for that work, and

    This mod does not need to be updated to work on the new Skyrim SE patch. Update your SKSE and address library, and you're good to go.

    Does this only affect the vanilla lightning spells, or can modded(lightning)spells also benefit from this mod too?

      I believe it should work for any fire-and-forget beam spells, so modded spells like that probably work.

    I want use  FenixProjectilesAPI, but i use 1.6.353.
    so i ready for how to compile. and during googling, BOOM! I find you.

    I want to compile other modes and use them, Is there anything I can refer to?

    Hello, just to tell you that it doesn't work as expected in VR.

     The origin gets detached from the hand, yes, but you can keep moving it while the animation goes on, rotating the direction, it doesn't get fixed in a target point. .. i'll try to upload a video, it's easier to understand seeing it in action.

    edit: This is how it behaves in a gif. You can see it detaches from the hand, but i can keep moving it until it finish the animation... doesn´t feels natural.  Could it be fixed to, once launched go straight to where it was pointing and not be affected past this point for the hand movement?... i understand this problem doesn´t exist in non-vr version. 

    :) anyway, thanks for your work!

      Unfortunately I don't have the VR version of the game to reverse engineer, nor a VR setup to test, so I won't be able to fix this.

      pity...but, thank you for the mod, it's a good idea anyway. :)

      edit: Would you mind if i try to tell someone about this?...  i think it's a interesting enough mod to try to fix this for Vr.

    Does this mod also add the way you fire lightning spell very fast with each hands in your video? Or another mod?

      That's just charging up a spell in each hand and releasing them one at a time. You can fire spells very fast that way, and it's a totally vanilla technique.
