The mod is great, too bad if you didn't like it. This lantern here fits the gameplay MUCH better for all kinds of classes. On the other hand, I cannot have your mod Quicklight provide me with a floating candle (!) if my character is not a mage. This is not Harry Potter.
FIXED - WORKS on Skyrim SE Updated to 1.6.640 - DO NOT OVERWRITTE PAPYRUS (PapyrusUtil SE - Modders Scripting Utility Functions) FIXED DLL message - fix do not need anymore Patch for Hunterborn included
Thank you so much for this. I just started a new game and for some reason Frostfall kept telling me the Wearable Lanterns mod was "out of date" even though I hadn't touched either mod. This got rid of that message. What good timing for me! :D
You can do it pretty easily with ESP-ESM Translator, just download the original mod, (or any existing translation) so you can use the already translated lines from the .esp and apply them to this mod (thanks BTW). It's fairly easy to use, just don't forget to green-light all the lines before saving the mod.
when I try to install this mod I get this message: Could not read or write to the configuration profile. Profiles store all Wearable Lanterns settings. This may be because permissions are not enabled to do so in the “Data/SKSE' folder or in the "Mod Organizer/overwrite/SKSE” directory if you are using the Mod Organizer tool. Try running Skyrim as administrator to fix the problem. Does anyone know how I can fix it? :(
Got latest version but the DLL error still comes up, downloaded the PapyrusUtil SE and its incompatible with SkyUI. Any alternative to this mod that works with SkyUI?
This mod breaks functionality of all dlc and modded torches! Causing animations to be stuck when unequiping It breaks this by altering Dawnguard TorchEvents
so i noticed that when inside my houses like lakeview manor, i get some weird issue where parts of the room turn black or really dark where im standing like the light is having an issue rendering properly in the interior. I use enb and lux so not sure if its an issue with those as well. but is there a fix or workaround for this?
It's Lux. I was having the same thing with torches, lanterns, magic lights. Removed Lux and it's all good now. Cured a few other things too, like heavy FPS drop and messed up lighting in the Blue Palace.
Game still looks great just running ENB. I miss the window beams a bit, but it's worth it
