hey you commented on my post "DP Farming much!?" could you please elaborate on what that means and if I'm doing something wrong I will just delete the mod
You see how people on Youtube tutorials always tell wannabe moders to ALWAYS read mod's description pages? Well, I am dumb enough to not do it, and so I was today year old when I discovered all your bug fixes mods were REPLACERS --' My shame has no end... (but my modlist is thankful =D )
You sir made a bunch of REALLY cool mods. We idiots are clearly not worthy of your hard work and dedication TwT All hail to you
Gotta read my friend! Honestly speaking proper reading, and by extension comprehension of the material, will lead to 90% of problems being solved. The remaining 10% is where we come in.
Hum... TGTo Shor Stone's Enhanced as been made redundant when I loaded this mod after the former. Is that supposed to happen ? I don't understand how a mod that require another would completly overwrites it
That's what I'm saying. I'm overwriting Shor's Stone Enhanced with your mod. Your mod is the only mod that overwrites Shor's Stone Enhanced in my load order and Shor's Stone Enhanced has a grey icon for which the tooltip says "redundant". I like to think I'm not completely unaware of how MO2 works and if I'm not mistaken a grey thunder icon means the related mod is completely overwritten by another 'in this case, yours) and can safely be removed.
Isn't that strange that your mod that list Shor's Stone Enhanced as a requirement overwrites it to the point where Shor's Stone Enhanced can be removed ? How is that a requirement then.
If I'm mistaken I apologize, I'm not trying to be a smartass of something. I'd just like to know if I'm right to think SSE can be removed or if I need to keep it in my load order ?
no you have it right, my file is a plugin replacer and it will overwrite any other file of the same name. This is intentional. and technically yes it does mean you can delete the original mod from your left pane. But given my fix wouldn't be possible without smauxy's mod. go and give it a download and an endorsement.
If this mod makes the original .esp redundant (which makes perfect sense) and it can be safely removed, why do I not get the same message with any of your other bugfix files (I think I pretty much use them all)? I use Vortex as opposed to MO2.
because the message is stating that the mod is redundant, not the plugin. all of the other mods ive done fixes for have assets included with them, which i have not touched in any way.
Thanks for bug fixes release of my enhanced version, would help me understand and learn few things. Btw I am same person who asked about Navmesh help in Toostruus discord. The coincidence of your reply on dc and release of these fixes the next day is unreal lol. Btw how do you check for issues? I would like to avoid some of these issues if I know where to look. Understand of me as beginner in xEdit.

I ship my fixes as a plugin replacer. so the original plugin is overwritten by mine.
