So, something happened that google doesn't seem to have an answer for. When I first enter Solitude, instead of roggvir being executed like normal, a fight breaks out, and everyone scatters. Shortly afterwards the Quest Giver Argonian attacks me out of the blue
Also getting this problem, I'm sure it's unrelated to this mod as I'm not using it. I'm trying older versions of the solitude opening scene script to see if this still happens.
Edit: so after some troubleshooting I think my modified guards are causing the problem here. Still trying to figure out why that might be.
I had this issue but worse for a while, not only my npcs wouldn't leave the area but they would also go up to Roggvir's body, kneel down and touch it then say "OH WHAT HAPPEND???", it annoyed me so much. I tried your fix and the issue didn't seem to go away only when I disabled my stealth overhaul (Realistic AI Detection). I tried other mods that affect stealth and they seem to cause this bug to happen again. Was wondering if you could go take a look at the script again and see why mods that change detection are affecting this scene and maybe solve it cheers
Fixed (requires papyrus extender). I actually have the same issue now, but i believe didn't have it before i switched from Lite version of RAID, with which detection was completely broken on my modlist, to a different version of it. Or at least it was not that awful, with the version i use currently everyone approaches the poor Roggvir
question, i dont have open cities, and yet the execution wont start, what mod is causing that? i've tried using the kill and resurrect commands and it didnt fix it.
This mod is known to break Roggvir's execution scene (even if you remove it but still use a save where it existed) If you don't have it then no idea. I'd start from checking the load order for all related scripts and records in xEdit, but if you know nothing about it, disabling mods half by half until you find the culprit is the only thing i can suggest to you
hey lil, I saw your mod labeled "producers of skyrim", and I wonder... did you miss ever a mod called "Priest Vendor" ? That mod causing black face, Can you make a version Priest of Skyrim ? :) with using SPID tech
