About this mod
This is a very simple mod which upgrades the Hobbington Hole player house with a few new facilities. The latest version adds in a small viewing/hunting platform which can be accessed via a ladder and trapdoor next to the smelter in the basement.

Hobbington Hole is one of my favourite player houses and I have used it extensively for the past few months. However, there were one or two features that were missing which I thought would be really useful.
1. I have added some more storage chests: one in each of the crafting rooms downstairs, two in the bedroom and one in the kitchen area. This means you can have separate storage for: Metals, Hides, Ingredients, Potions, Soul Gems, Food, Armour, Weapons and Treasure - which is important if you use any linked storage/crafting mods.
2. I have added a chopping block and woodcutters axe next to the fireplace in the bedroom - this replaces the purely cosmetic logs that were there originally. This is a lot more convenient that having to travel to Whiterun, the nearest chopping block, especially if you are not using fast travel etc.
3. I have replaced the contents of the storage room by the entrance to the master bedroom with a large water pool which can be used as a source of fresh water if you are using a survival mod and you need to refill your waterskins before heading out. There is a pool of water outside to the back of the house but it is infested with mudcrabs. Remember to fill your waterskins BEFORE you have a bath :)
4. I have added a pickaxe to the pile of coal on the floor by the foundry, this means Hobbington Hole now provides pretty much everything you need when starting out.
5. In the latest version I have added a small viewing/hunting platform which can be accessed via a ladder and trapdoor near the smelter in the basement.
You can either use Vortex to install this mod or just download it manually and place the .esp file into your Skyrim /Data folder - the plugin needs to be loaded after Hobbington Hole - which Vortex did automatically during my testing.
I have tested this mod on Skyrim SE and Skyrim VR and it works as expected and only requires the vanilla game, the three DLCs and obviously Hobbington Hole. However, if you install it on a save where you have already visited Hobbington Hole and taken or placed items, you may find some unwanted clutter in the water pool area, but once you remove it it shouldn't come back. All of the new chests are set not to respawn so they should be perfectly safe to store your loot in. If there are any issues just let me know and I will try to resolve them :)
