unfortunately you're right, in a hurry I have converted the DXT5, not the source. I will correct as soon as possible. whatever I have noticed an improvement, the textures appear less blurry

Other suggestions: 1. LOD textures for SSELODGen in textures\lod folder. It's just resized copy of the textures from landscape folder(only five): dirt02lod,fieldgrass01lod,pineforest02lod,rocks01lod,snow01lod(Should be in DXT1 or R8G8B8, 128x128, no alpha). That textures used on lod meshes and needed to match colors. 2. If BC7 works well then maybe you need to use it for other diffuse+alpha DXT5(i hope better quality at same VRAM usage).

Very impressive. Thank you for this. I'm really drawn to the depth of the normal maps. However, my roads don't look nearly as 3D as yours do in this video. Are you using any other mods?
unfortunately I do not remember the mods I used, the video is old. It may be I have used "realroad" but I'm not sure. for normal map, you try to use software Quixel

the textures are in dds, tablets or DXT1 or DXT5 as appropriate, so they should be fine but I had already noticed it watching the original. for 1k resolution will have to wait. before I finish in 2k version. not all textures are covered
