Better late than never. Adding the following line in Racial Skin's distribution file (RSV_DISTR.ini) fixes it (aka tells the skin mod to ignore Auryen):
what would cause a weird squish face. I load into the game he looks fine, then I go into a room, come back and his face is all weird. his nose will be giant, empty eyes on his forehead, and his eyes are on his front cheeks, giant crazy eye brows. I turned off everything that could be targeting him. I am using BNP male skin, with racial skin variant patch, sos, and FK's Diverse Racial Skeletons. Also Divine Wardrobe. He is wearing a new outfit from that...I am wondering because the outfit is targeting him ...I put the esp from this, all the way at the bottom, it didn't matter, and I cant see anything in the left pain of MO2 overwriting it, I put it all the way at the bottom in the left pain too. I used this for quite a awhile, but recently I added the BNP skin, and the divine wardrobe Intergration. so it's one of those two....
Figured it out. It was racial skin variances. It was seeing Auryen as a high elf from the Dragon Born High Poly overhaul. which I use for everyone but him. So ill have to delete him from that mod so RSV doesn't see him.
I'm sorry to bother you but I am also having this problem with RSV! I wanted to ask if are able to help and if you still knew which specific NPC to delete to fix the bug? :,D
So you can fix this by adding him as an exception in the RSV DIST ini. If you use the RSV patches as well, there's an ini file in there as well that you'll need to alter. Here's an example of my exceptions. I just went with every variation of the names that I could think of.
not sure why (probably caused by something else in my load order, i am clueless about modding lol) but High Poly Head was a requirement for me - without it, Auryen had a super weird double-face texture happening with an extra set of eyes where his eyebrows should be, weird nose, etc. but it looks like it should now in your screenshots after adding High Poly Head. just thought it might be helpful info if anyone else gets a weird face texture too ETA: jk it only fixed him outdoors :cry: i don't even have a crumb of an idea why or how to fix that so sadly have to pass on hot auryen
