   What even is this? Do I understand correctly, that if I'm already using the "HPP - My Fixes" mod/patch, the only file needed to be downloaded here is one of the two under "optional files"...? 
   I'm struggling to understand why I would even bother when it seems that the 2K file (which I'd prefer) contains only 1, single, texture... Am I drunk?

      no, theres something weird about this, it doesn't contain what he says it contains, i checked manually.

   Hey, this is nice. Helps saving vram a lot, question thou... Can I unpack HPP, paste this mod over it and repack it to install?

   Do you think you could compact these to BC7 before downscaling them? BC7 compression loads faster and looks far better

   So you don't pick one of the main files and one of the optionals, you install both and both because they're all different files, right?

      Smaller packages for High Poly Project - My fixes SE-AE users because this fix overwrite a part of the downscale textures.

      No, vanilla is definitively low poly by todays standards. Look at those logs. The difference between the low poly and high poly is massive and I'm sure we could get largely the same appearance with half the vertices.
