Changelogs
Version 1.2
Update for version 2.2 of Witcher Horse Expansion. Changed behavior of the new wild horses. Some horses have new names. Removed Template field from Hearthfire horses since it is no longer used.
Version 1.1
Update for version 2.0 of Witcher Horse Expansion. Hearthfire horses now have their intended names. This is the only change.
Please note that currently the patch only works for the ESP-FE version of Witcher Horse Expansion.
Without a patch, most of the features added by these mods will work as long as Witcher Horse Expansion (WHE) loads after Simple Horse Tweaks (SHT). But two major features from SHT will be overwritten: 1. Some horses are faster than others, and 2. Horses are cowardly (meaning they run away in fights instead of engaging the enemy). This patch resolves these conflicts so that no features are lost. It also adds these changes to the new horses from WHE. There is one exception; the conjured horses from WHE do not have their behavior set to cowardly. I have a couple of reasons for this:
Most importantly, since they have to be conjured, it probably means these horses are daedra or undead and shouldn't behave like ordinary horses. (According to the lore on UESP, there are some conjuration spells which summon natural creatures, however the summonable horses from WHE appear to be magical).
If a conjured horse dies, the player can simply re-summon it. I don't think it is important that these horses run away to keep themselves alive.
If you want to play a character who summons a unicorn and fights alongside it, this patch won't stop you!
Load this plugin after WHE and SHT. The unicorn options you choose in the FOMOD of WHE, which come as seperate plugins, do not conflict with anything.
