Every day I see the way skyrim's art could ahve been and get sad. So much performance lost on needless ugly details, when clean but realistic minimalism could have been the norm. Whittled wood, ridged metal, thick-wrapped letter, these things look amazing with decent normals that conform to low poly meshes, and could have been part of skyrim's art style from the start. Half the resources, twice the aesthetic. Look at what renthal's been doing. That plus stuff like this mod that clear out needless clutter, and it's so much better.
The mod is compatible with most retextures. Better Dirt Cliff and Alphas is a favorite of mine, but it will conflict with the meshes from my mod. If you can find a way to use only the textures I think you might be happy ;)
I was going to explain that i found some cliffs , no root version, in the rift that had purple textures but then i see you already fixed it and updated it to 1.1 so thanks. The no roots look nice to me.
Glad your enjoying the mod. Can you confirm that the update sorted out the texture issue you had in the rift? I would appreciate it if you can as I'm only one person and it's difficult for me alone to test everything thoroughly. Thank you.
The textures that I saw, you definitely fixed. I use grass mods and terrain mods to turn the rift green so it wasn't necessarily a rift texture now that I think about it.
The fix I implemented was done in such a way that it should not matter what textures or gras mods you use. I am glad the problem is sorted now. Thanks a bunch for getting back to me, I really appreciate it.
