it was nice of you to suggest Player Size Adjuster and First Person Camera Height Fix SSE ...HOWEVER I am all about MY immersion (not necessarily "immersion" but the two tend to be close) and that mod has too many bugs for me to consider putting it into my game. Like this one better. Thanks for this!
What bugs are those? I just installed that mod and haven't noticed any yet, but if there are any serious ones I'd rather find out about them sooner than later.
Check the "Bugs" Tab on the mod page. Besides being form 43 (which depending on the kind of mod can become a cancer that ruins your game over time) there are 6 other bug reports unresolved. Not a risk i am willing to take when i am planning a 1000+ hour play through with 400+ mods. I try to only use mods with no bugs, but if manageable 1-2 is ok as long as most of the mods are bug free but 7 bugs on a single mod? Nope.
It's possible that some things broke over time. With all the updates and such. This thing was made by me in late 2016 and uploaded 2017 for example. lol Only reason why mine still works is because it's a caveman kinda method of doing it. Haha
I'm amazed you're still talking on this mod. lol Anyhow, this is an unga bunga thing I made. The benefit is that it's pluginless and all that but a bit stupid if you wanna change anything. At least it works. Oh well.
Is this the definitive first person height adjustment mod? Haven't see any recent comments and has 0 bug reports. Seems to be the most trustworthy despite its old update date.
Will download and risk my humble load order to try this.
I have MCO, Precision, CGO stripped and a bunch of other goodies, so if it doesn't break, it is still is the best!
This is the only known fix which doesn't cause CTD or messes up the whole game, kudos.
I may ask you something: which is the exact line the edits the 1st person camera height in the .nif file? Because, technically, all of us can edit the value using NifSkope to adjust it to the perfect size.
This is way to old to be but the first thing I thought of when seeing that first image was like. The second(? might have been the first) episode of The Owl House
