For some odd reason, everytime i use the process hotkey you fixed on an eligible corpse only gives me a few drops as if I harvested ingredients from a Charus
Oh man sorry about that Dx To be fair it'd be a while for me to get my life straight to get back to modding, but I won't forget, eventually I will attempt to fix this.
I just started using hotkeys on everything on vanilla Hunterborn mcm...and I noticed that there is no hotkey for getting rid of the corpse, like there was in Vanilla. Am I lost, or will this mod fix it for me?
Any attempt to make Hunterborn better gets my attention. I will definitely check this out. I've never even tried using the hotkey feature, I've always just made choices from the popup menu. I'll have to verify it's not working in my game first. BTW great description page, I love your candid approach to this fix, and thanks for including the source files.
Truly, I didn't use them either, until I wanted to try my gamepad with a neat mod for hotkeying, I got very upset when I realized I couildn't just L1 + Triangle to field dress and then L1 + Square to process away. I had to do the sneak thing to activate the process action, but then it clashed with Forbidden Prey's own bugged process mechanic, no thanks.
I too think Hunterborn needs more attention and will attempt to improve it with my endeavors and share them if they are functional and not too cumbersome or at all damaging to your save files. My next aim is to add unsupported dlc creatures the same way the rest are coded, if such thing doesn't exist already.
Thank you for your kind words friend, np about the source files, all my contributions are completely open for everyone.
Yes, by all means; although my knowledge is weak still, I want to fix it to make it as functional as possible and being able to fully integrate Hunterborn Forbidden Prey for the ultimate hunterborn experience (in my silly roleplay fantasies point of view). For example, I cannot bear that arthropods like spiders, chaurus and mudcrabs yield small animal bones, so I removed those, and added Juvenile Crabs in mudcrabs instead. I may include such tweaks in the future when I make it a clean .Esl.
Thank you for your support friend. It's one of my permanent ones too, I cannot let go. I really want to tweak it to my liking and make it as perfect as possible (in regards of bugs and adding the rest of the missing monsters without relying on zedit patches I don't understand D';) and also add complete support with Hunterborn - Forbidden Prey which has its fair share of bugs and uncompleted mechanics.
