hello sir, just wondering if you plan to patch these for the darenni spell mod known as inquisition which lets you summon holy restoration weapons,

This is perfect for use with the poise mod but it reintroduces a problem which is the reason bound weapons have no weight in the first place. In If you cast a bound weapon spell while near your weight limit and the conjured weapon pushes you over the limit, you will be overencumbered (which will get you killed in the heat of battle).

I was thinking about that while creating this mod. I'll be honest with you, this mod is just a quick fix. I'm sure someone with more modding experience than me can create a patch that fixes this problem. I will to try to see if I can find a solution to this problem on my side (I have some idea of how to do it, but I don't know if the creation kit can allow me to make any kind of modifications).

I'm no expert, so I wouldn't know how to do it, but you could add an effect that raises your max weight limit by the same amount as the weapon when you are using it. For example, when I cast Bound Sword, the sword weighs 16 and my max carry weight gets increased by 16, and when I cancel the spell it goes back to normal.

That was what I had in mind, i can try to add a 2nd enchantment to the bound weapons that increase the carry weight of the caster, i'm trying to do this right now but i don't know if this is possible to add an armor enchantment on a weapon.
A second option could be create a passive power (like Khajiit/Argonians Claws effect) that will be trigger when a bound spell is cast.
I need more practice on SSEdit, but i'm on it.

Solution: How about adding another magic effect to that spell that increases your carry weight for as long as you have that bound weapon?

Here is my implementation of that idea. (Forwarded all USSEP changes and ESL-flagged as well)

Edit: I am not tracking this comment. If you have any questions, PM me.

Unfortunately if you dual wield swords the carry weight effect will only apply once so it might still cause a problem for dual wielders.

Also I tried adding the alchemy carry weight effect to the spell and it uncategorized the spell and just became a normal power rather than a Conjuration spell

Could we perhaps label bound weapons as quest items reminiscent of balfgruufs sword?

Don't know if that would cause performance or stability issues - but I figured I'd throw it out there since they don't count as weight.

No, it will not be combatible. i've only edited the weapon in the vanilla game, so all new bound weapons added in Simon's mysticism will weight nothing. Just like Animated Armoury, it will need a patch to be compatible.

This is such a simple but awesome idea. Thank you! I´m using Poise too and I love to play with bound weapons. Perfect fix.

You could add Poise as a requirement in the description and just write next to it, that it´s not actually required. This way others can see your mod linked on the Poise-page.
