Changelogs
Version 1.1
They won't spawn on cold/snowy locations anymore, so this mod is now 100% compatible with all snowy flower replacers.
Adds Yellow Mountain Flowers from the Dawnguard DLC to Skyrim fields by replacing some Purple Mountain Flower spawns.
Can I still find Purple Mountain Flowers? Yes. This mod replaces 40.7%, so there's still 59.3% Purple Flowers around that you can find.
How many Yellow Mountain Flowers are added to Skyrim? Exactly 788. If you want more or less, tweak "MMBOSYellowMountainFlowers_SWAP.ini" by adding or removing semicolons.
Will I find Yellow Mountain Flowers in dungeons? Yes, but only if there was Purple Flowers there.
Will I find Yellow Mountain Flowers on Dragonborn DLC areas? No. Solstheim flora isn't touched by this mod. Will I find Yellow Mountain Flowers on areas added by mods? No. This mod only replaces Purple Flowers added by Skyrim.esm.
Will this conflict with plugins that overhauls/replaces flora? No. If you have a mod that changes a Purple Flower's placement for some reason, this mod is going to preserve the new spawn point and only replace it by a Yellow Flower.
Will this conflict with other BOS mods that overhauls/replaces flora? The short answer is: maybe, but even if there's a conflict, you won't get CTDs or anything like that, so don't worry.
What about mods that changes the flora on snowy places? I did consider replacers for snowy regions, so they won't spawn on Eastmarch, the Pale or Winterhold.
