The LOD parameters may help reduce frame spikes when loading new areas, as well as helping to keep FPS under control whilst moving into new areas. It does not act immediately like shadows do, although it could at least stop FPS getting worse.
I seem to lose my menu settings when updating my ENB (v0482 -> v0494). How can I verify it's still working when updating ENB, or how can I get the settings to reappear?
You'll need to copy the "MOD:Shadowboost" section of enbseries.ini and save it somewhere, then add it back after updating ENB, as updating overwrites the ini if you are not installing manually.
anyone know how to make this pop up using silent horizons 2 universal core, which uses enb extender and kiloader, those mods change the enb gui and i cant find anything about using these together, any help or point to somewhere would be appreciated. thanks.
After installing the MOD is not appearing in my ENB, what do i do? Is this mode plug and play using Mod Organizer or does it have an installation process? nothing is stated
Can this be used without ENB or ReShade? I'm using Community Shaders and not sure if this is useful or how to interact with it if I don't have those add-ons.
Thanks for this nice and simple performance mod. If my main framerate issues result from moving into a direction and turning back to look where I came from, is there anything to tweak here that can help with that?
In the .ini file, what does fRateOfChange mean? Does the number indicate seconds between transitions, the threshold of change in frames per second for the mod to check to see if it needs to adjust .ini settings, or something else?
I ask, because I'm trying to use this mod in conjunction with SSE FPS Stabilizer https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38438, which does something similar but doesn't adjust shadows. It would be nice if I could sync up their transition settings.
