   Just one quick nitpick; the ESL limit isn't 4096, it's somewhere between 1200 and 1500, depending on mods.  Because Skyrim can only open 2048 files at the same time in total before it crashes (actually, that's only if you have the Skyrim Engine Fixes; it's 512 without it).

      Ah, well. It's large enough for most people, I'm sure. It is for me. Currently having 194 ESP and 143 light plugins, and I doubt it will grow much.

      I think you can reconfigure SSE Engine Fixes to allow even more plugins (i.e. 2048 isn't a hard limit, but can be configured to be higher in the TOML)

      Yes you can configure it in the SSE Engine Fixes toml. Change it to something like 4096 or 8192
