Updated esp in the file section. Please replace your esp with this new one if you happen to have the double rugs in front of the alchemy and enchanting labs.
I can't find this place and it's driving me crazy! I've got JKs Skyrim installed which makes the whole quarter an awesome maze. That mod's page assures me it's compatible with Bal Ruhn, but I have my doubts - I had to manually add the deed to Sadri's inventory, and no matter how hard I just can't seem to find that dang door. Anyone got any insight?
ETA - so it looks like the cell's not even there. When I type help "bal ruhn" 4 I see the key and the deed, but no cell data. Seems like it should be working fine - what gives?
For some reason I love the idea of the second bunk belonging to a roommate NPC who'd have a routine to leave early and sandbox around the city and return in the evening like they're coming home from work. There's something about this tiny, cozy environment that makes me want to have share it with an actor you can't control. Like you didn't have enough money to rent the place on your own, or there's not enough room in the Grey Quarter for an apartment to yourself... Anyway, thank you for this wonderful little mod!
This looks fantastic! And at the risk of sounding like a nerd (though aren't we all here?), from a realism standpoint, the layout makes so much more sense than other housing mods. It's FREEZING in Windhelm, so therefore it would make sense to put the beds on the upper level loft since heat rises. And the compact size would also make sense since there is only one heat source (the fireplace). It drives me crazy to see so many house mods with one fireplace in an enormous house. I seriously need to learn how to mod. OK nerd rant over. Great mod! Endorsed!
First off, wonderul mod. I have an issue though. I want to edit the lighting in this mod but when I open it in the CK it shows a bunch of red "!" as if its missing meshes or something? Any idea on that? Thanks
EDIT: and 5 minutes later I find out on Google it's because the files are packed in a BSA and I need to unpack them into loose files. Thanks :)
Wow, this is an amazing house mod, unlike the most popular mods out there for player housing, I just prefer the smallest, most cozy and unobtrusive houses out there and yours fits the bill amazingly well!
Kudos to you friend! Looooove this mod, it also seems to blend in perfectly with JKs Skyrim, so your little house is like there, without any issues!
If you have it in your heart to make more cozy homes, please do! Out of the way hidden places, hideouts and hard to find homes are my favorites, as I usually play as a lone wolf that is more on the bandit side than most hehe.
A small request: If you could make a small sewers hidden room in riften or anywhere else it would be awesome too, or small hideouts in the wilderness, you truly design houses in a way I find perfectly fitted to my tastes! Very small , cozy and with lots of imaginative containers! Big hugs to you and let me say, at least one or two of my chars will have a permanent home in the gray quarter thanks to you! Much love to you, for bringing some happiness to my dark world. Thank you!
I'm sure most people realized this, but you can't just install the fixed version of the mod. You have to install the original and then install the fix over it. I made the mistake of doing this and things were ... weird ... until I did it the correct way. :) Also, this is a cool mod. Endorsed!
