This mod requires SPID 6.6.1 or later for the distribution to merchants' items for sale.

    Troubleshooting:

If you're having issues with the outfits not being distributed, please ensure that you are using the relevant and most up to date version of SPID, there are two downloads, one for Anniversary Edition (1.6 and above) and one for Special Edition (1.5.97 and below). Also please ensure you have the requirements for SPID as stated on the mod page.

If you've updated SPID mid-game and merchants are not showing the DLC items for sale, you'll need to open the console, click on the NPC and type resetinventory.

It seems new versions of SPID starting with v6.8.5 RC9 will no longer force-equip distributed outfits on NPCs, but rather simply distribute them and that's it. Any idea if that will impact this mod? I suppose for armors the one with better stats would be auto-equipped, but no idea how the game logic handles clothing

I'm aware of the change but I haven't tried it. I don't think clothing fits into any preferred class though. I'm loathe to do any testing because SPID seems to change every few days, some of the changes have already broken several of my mods and it's frustrating to try to keep them all updated when another change could simply break it again.

When things have settled more with SPID I'll take a look.

One year later, and SPID is still changing stuff around with outfit distribution mechanics (see recent RC changelogs)...

Maybe it would be better to switch this mod to Skypatcher-based distribution, like for example Sentinel and Court Fashions do it (the latter one was previously SPID-based as well). It would save you the headache from having to deal with the (ever-changing) SPID outfit distribution...

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but since the mod distributes the items via SPID, does this mean that it won't interfere with the other mods that use levelled lists to distribute weapons and armour?

Probably more like the opposite. Mods that give NPCs outfits will conflict with each other. Weapons shouldn't be affected.

Took a quick jog around Whiterun after installing... this is a real upgrade, and with the latest SPID outfits updated automatically with no need for console commands.
Hulda is showing too much skin IMO, but overall great. Thanks!

I like this mod and your FG overhaul as well - however I would to apply similar changes as this mod does on your Flower gIrls as well so they don’t stick out as much. Should this mod load after FGE or how does SPID know to distribute the outfits to mod-added NPCs? Or is it better to use one of your FGE clothing overhauls as a template instead and just change the clothing names?

You can just add their names to the DISTR file for this mod. If two or more DISTR files affect the same NPC, the one that loads alphabetically will win the conflict.

Hey there! Just noting that this mod has a compatibility issue with Light and Shade. The mod adds a follower named Eris, which matches an NPC on the boat in Solitude. Because of how the replacement names are set up, this mod will cause Light and Shade's Eris to have her normal outfits overwritten with the dress/skaal outfit given to the basegame's Eris.

Fixing it just requires removing Eris from the DISTR file of this mod. Not something that needs to be fixed, I don't think, but I wanted to save someone else the few hours of troubleshooting I had to do to figure this out :'D

You can delete anything you don't like which is already laid out in the description.

Will this conflict with Armor and Clothing Extension? Specifically the SPID version of it?
