How does this mod interact with CC items? Edit: it does not, and it has no support for Imperial weapons. Otherwise pretty fun mod to use if you can avoid the urge to powerlevel.
A very neat but small mod. This feature is much better than vanilla, gives you a reason to craft different stuff. Not the iron daggers and gold rings over and over. And it's no longer a dreadful chore to level up smithing.
I have Immersive Weapons installed alongside this, but something seems to be going wrong with this mod itself because every time I install it via NMM/Vortex (I ... haven't actually tried it on its own yet) it doesn't seem to work as advertised. I've crafted, like, two, three things now, but gotten 0 exp for it.
For anyone looking for an additional way to increase smithing without the grind, consider Passive Crafting (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58894). It's essentially an afk skill-up system that slowly gives you smithing, alchemy, and enchanting xp for using related work stations. Sometimes it's nice to just sit back and watch your character actually work in real time to gain skill.
Additionally, this will help mitigate the issue with running out of things to craft that the author describes on the main page, so you can go legendary without concerns.
If you want a little more immersion, Crafting Requires Tools (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1672) forces you to have certain items in your inventory when using most crafting stations. When it comes to alchemy, that mod works perfectly with alchemy requires bottles (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/44053).
