    I created a mod once, it took me a year, but it really makes me appreciate other mods. This one is simply outstanding. The landmass is huge, and packed with dungeons, caves, towns, you simply can't travel from one place to another without stumbling across something else to keep you from the task in hand. You start quests and get diverted on to other ones, like what happens in Skyrim itself. If you've never modded before you really won't know how difficult it is to create new creatures, even the simple slugs here are major bits of work, yet there are even enchanted trees! And then the characters - it would have been so easy to just not have voice actors, but to co-ordinate 100 of them is incredible, and when every character has a different story to tell, that aspect is better than vanilla Skyrim. Don't just download this mod, donate too, its worth it.

    I've become an arch-mage but the I can't find the courier. Do you need to be a dragonborn as well to start the quest? I'm using skyrim unbound and pick non-dragonborn as my character

    So after formerly having problems with getting this mod to start it FINALLY kicked in a few days ago and all I can say is that this s#*! is BREATHTAKING, to say the least

      Only two problems though.
      This old man's ghost kept following me after I killed the old man...that was following me.🤣
      What is with that and what should I do?
      Is that part of some quest that I unlocked?
      The second problem is that there is this area that is in the air like a pond that I was told to take a dip in.
      It's a square piece of water in the air with trees and rocks in the elevated.
      I know of the floating land masses.
      That's different!
      That's cool!
      But what I'm talking about is what the creator may have forgotten to put in place

    Warning, the animations for the baliwog  haven't been updated to SE. Hopefully the author will fix this but in the meantime you can convert it yourself.

    The description states that there are "7 potential player homes."  The wiki pages only seem to show 6:

    I don't normally comment on mods but this one is so well done that I wanted to take the time to praise the mod author.  Summerset Isle is extremely well done, with interesting quests, lots of new models and textures and a vast landscape.  While not every NPC has something to say, many of them have interesting backstories and tales to tell. Far more than most similar mods.

    I've played most of the well-known quest and new lands mods and this one is hands down the best.  Thanks to the author for all of the hard work!

    Just so's you know, TESEDit says the fixes.esp has 20 deleted navmeshes. It also needs to be cleaned.

      No. No one is willing of being a tester. Sometimes, someone will come along and offer to be an LE tester, then never actually commit to testing.

    The map did not load after talking to the courier, how do I fix this problem?

    Sorry, but I have to ask.  On the quest 'Changes' that you get from Ranor in Alinor you're supposed to find this gate to a labyrinth under a rock.  I find the rock just find but when I click on it I enter into the twilight zone.  There is no ground and I seem to be free floating high in the air and I can see other doors and torches and whatnot out in the distance.  After a few seconds I start to fall then pop back up to where I was.  At this point all I can do is turn around and exit.  Is this what is supposed to happen?  I know you like to make it a challenge but usually it's not in a way that looks a lot like a glitch.  So I just want to know if I just need to sludge on and try to figure it out or if I've actually discovered a bug in my install?

      Possible but you've downloaded 25 files from this page so it's hard to say what you've installed and if it was installed correctly. Why did you download all the files so many times?

      Space is at a premium on my computer.  I just put skyrim back on it.  Before I was playing ESO to catch up with the new necrom update.  In order for me to play ESO I have to remove some things.  I switch around a lot.  For this current installation of skyrim I only downloaded it once, I think...

      Edit:  Only thing different this go around is that I didn't install it manually and just used ModOrganizer.  If you believe that is the problem I can uninstall the mod and install it manually.  I experimented this time, I wanted to see if it'd work through the mod manager and it did.  I completed the main quest and in the wiki I learned that I need a daedra or something to find what's his name again, the one that ran of with sheogorath sp?.  I only just now encountered a problem.

      Edit 2:  I'll do this, when I get home (at work talking on nexus...lol) I'll try it manually and let you know if it's totally on me for using mod organizer.

      It works now.  As it turns out if you just hit the vortex button you only get Summerset-Isle-something-combined installed.  I went back and installed Ebon something fix and ESMified (whatever that is).  It works now, and this was all from installing via mod manager 2.  The easy button just may work for installs.  I'll let you know if that isn't the case but for now my problem is fixed.
