Hi! I've got a slightly different soundproblem: now and then, when I accidentily movecthe Audio USB plug, the sound goes away and only returns when I restart. Could this fix work? Assja
My sounds are OK, but my music just stopped working and this hasn't fixed it sadly. Tried changing my music replacer mods, removing them, adding directly into data folder as loose files, and a few other things but no joy yet. Welcome any suggestions...
Try to change your windows default audio format which is 24 bit, 48000 Hz "to" 24 bit, 44100Hz. When i started to play Skyrim i had the problem you mention, after do the change all went normal.
You need to read both mod descriptions closely. This mod fixes audio issues and the one you marked has more to do with getting better performance. More for those who install on HDD vs. SSD (not so much performance gains).
OMFG!!! I wanted to revisit Skyrim and got the Anniversary Edition. Like others, I lost footsteps. music, doors opening, etc. That was a total immersion breaker and I was about to file Skyrim into the dustbin of game history. Then I found this mod. You are my hero!!! Thank you.

I hope that info help.

I want to say thank you for your mod, all the missing sounds are back.
And the more important thing, my number of CTD has been reduced to 0. :)
Greetings.
They seem to do the same thing unless this mod only does it for the Sound.bsa for some reason.
I only installed the other one in case they conflict.
edit: nvm, it did not
