    Thanks for this. Does this apply to summons too? Can we make this happen?

    And is it possible to make some connecting with the DeathItems so we can include the skull meshes?

    It seems in vanilla Skyrim skulls aren't dropped by Skeletons so forget it, no need to go and make things so complicated.

    Since you overwrite the rabbits script, will they work together or no?

      It's the same script, so there is no problem in overwriting it.

    Nice work, is there any way to reduce the Argonian and Khajiit skeletons chance? Just entered a cave to test this and saw two of out five skeletons of Khajiit variance.

      You need to edit the formlist included by this mod using xedit. I'll check if is possible to customize this using FLM.

    Will this work with Truly Undead?  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12642 Vampires, werewolves, undead resurrect when dead

      It should work if it doesn't add a new skeleton race or change the editor_id of the skeleton race.

    Hm. Ran into an invisible skeleton in the Hall of the Dead in Whiterun. Could be a vanilla bug, but in ten years of playing, I've never run into an invisible skeleton until after installing this. Any insight?

      It could be another mod, invisible skeletons can happen with some mods that add new skeletons. This one just change the skin, in a similar way to Animals Variants

    Awesome! Would be cool to see this applied to all skeletons, and not just summoned ones. Out of curiosity, would PraedythXVI texture of beast skeletons work with this?

      This mod uses the assets from Beast Skeletons, so PraedythXVI texture should work with this using the corresponding patch.

    Can this be used with the "Beast Skeletons Revised (Bitter Edition)" by Kulharin?

      Yes, this only change the appearance of vanilla skeletons, Beast Skeletons Revised uses a custom race, so they will not be affected by this mod.
