I use the original. It is cleaned and esl as of version 1.2 and in version 1.21 the big fog mesh in whiterun tundra was removed which eliminates pproblems with Picta improved Sky Mesh.
Given the changes in the past few years with DynDOLOD, ENB, lighting mods, etc., could this use updating, to keep up with the changes?
I've been using this since it came out, but if it could benefit on updates, I hope you will please keep it in development. This mod helps to really add a nice ambience.
Sometimes when I move the camera around, looking out in the distance, I'll get shimmering flickering, for a lack of better words, where they overlap, meet, intersect, on the map, etc...
I'm trying to add a more gloomy overcast look to Skyrim.
It would be great if this can be updated to work together, unless anyone knows of another good fog/mist mod, that works well with this mod?
THANKS
P.S. After making this post, I followed this Z-Fighting guide and it seems to of helped. For anyone else with Z-Fighting, DynDOLOD LODs can also be set at LOD4/LOD8/LOD16 - Level 0 Level 0 Level 1.
After posting this last year, the Z-Fighting guide is now gone and when you also increase the fNearDistance, you increase the clipping/culling of objects, meaning, the closer you stand next to something, it disappears.
This was the setting before, you could increase for Z-Fighting; (15.0000 is the recommended default)
I'm using it with Azurite (and PI-CHO) and it seems to have a pink tinge to it. Could be the ENB causing it though? Doesn't look like a missing texture purple colour, just a pinkish tint. Looks a little strange when everything else it grey.
Obsidian Weathers already included Obsidian mountain fogs. Can I add this mod to just overwrite Obsidian Weathers to get your changes?
EDIT: I downloaded one of these plugins and compared it to Obsidian Weathers. The only change this mod makes is to the sizes of the statics. So you *can* use this with Obsidian Weathers, BUT you have to make this mod come AFTER the Obsidian Weathers plugin. So you can either forward all the records to a patch, or remove the ESM flag, or some other way to allow the changed records to overwrite Obsidian Weathers. Also, this mod includes a few more clouds NOT covered by Obsidian Weathers.
The change is too easy (literally 10 sec) so not worth putting it up. Just load the plugin in xedit, click the header row, and remove the ESM flag. If you can't do that then it will be worth your time taking 1 hour to learn xedit, it will save you hours later. Just watch a couple youtube videos. :)
I think the right way to do this is to have obsidian use its own copy of the meshes so that they can have their own texture paths, so that the fog visuals isn't affected by whatever cloud texture replacers you're using.
I did that for myself a while back and it worked out well.

THANKS for this mod, it's really appreciated!
I noticed when using Volumetric Mists with Obsidian Mountain Fogs Tweaked, there's a conflict.

Hmm looks like the Z guide is now gone...

Is this compatible with Azurite?
