Thanks for this-- nothing like the trap of "just one more thing" or "just one more stage of this quest" followed by looking outside irl and seeing sunrise.

This mod really helps me particularly when I'm entering dungeons and such to stop and look at the time and actually decide if I want to stay up late and keep playing

For those who want a 24h clock, try this:
    https://github.com/KenneyNL/Skyrim-Mods/tree/main/Time%20On%20Loading%20Screen
Found the link on a reddit post.
Loaded one save for testing. Works nicely on SE/AE/current build.

Not sure why he (KenMOD) deleted his mods on nexus.

I have to say it: Something that I didn't know that I need!
And now I have it! Thank you for this awesome mod. I miss a watch with 24 hours format, but yours work pretty fine.

Can I delete loadingmenu.swf, if I don't need it to show in the loading screen, or is it used by RealTimeUtil.psc to get the time (e.g. if a mod need this to get the time)?

This is great. Really helps me not play overnight when I go on Skyrim modding binges :p

Hey. I've seen exactly the same mod for Fallout 4 some time ago.

You know, what I thought at the time... and think right now... more than "real time"... the loadscreen should display the Skyrim date and time... that would be actually really cool!

A Matter of Time mod does "something" like that... but has no ingerence on the LoadScreen ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12937/ )

    Is it doable?

    Thanks in advance!

Hey, yes it's doable. I'll update soon. You can also view Skyrim date and time from the main system menu

Great! Now I can not only stare at my own expressionless face via the pitch black loading screen, but I can also keep track of how much actual, real life time I'm wasting!

So how is this different from any other "time"? Either use /s or perhaps show a bit of respect to the mod author for releasing the file.

      Bruh :/
I was just making a joke about the endless hours I spend modding/playing this game, I think the mod is great.

Thank you for this dylbill. I have the original one released by Kenmod for Skyrim LE and I was lucky enough to keep several backed up copies of it. It works just fine with Skyrim LE or SE and is a flash sourced file too. I'm endorsing yours, thanks for bringing this back. I cannot believe KenMod removed all his mods including this one. I LOVE this and it is an essential part of my Skyrim game. It is also worth it to install manually too.

No problem, glad you like the mod! I actually didn't know the Kenmod one existed. This mod had two purposes for me. 1, to display time in loading menu (obviously) and the other to get real time and date from papyrus for my other mod Console Deleter. It appears though that Kenmod is still on Github if you like their mods. https://github.com/KenneyNL/Skyrim-Mods

Can confirm that it works with VR. It's great to be able to keep track of the time. Much appreciated, thanks!
